Interesting that he does not use siren when there is pedestrians crossing (and a car in the bus lane)
Could be that he is near by where ongoing crime is happening so what they do in Sweden is they turn off the siren when getting close to avoid alerting the thief or w.e it is going on so they cannot run away.

@@WestPartChronicles not really, some areas police do not turn siren off since it isn't required.

Could you elaborate on the number system which can be seen on the police cars?
In Sweden there is a national numbering system for emergency vehicles with 7 digits, the format is X XX-XXXX
The first digit tells you what type or department the vehicle is: 1 = police, 2 = fire rescue, 3 = EMS, 4 = others,
The second and third digit tells you the geographical location of the vehicle, where the second digit is the broader geographical location, and the third digit specifies the specific location.
Examples:
1 = Northern Sweden including Norrbotten (11), Västerbotten (12), Västernorrland (13), Jämtland(14), Regional unit for 1 (19);
2 = Central Sweden including Uppsala (21), Värmland (22), Västmanland (23), Dalarna (24, 25), Gävleborg (26), Regional unit for 2 (29);
3 = Stockholm County including Stockholm City (31), suburbs (32, 33), Norrtälje (34), Sigtuna (35), Nacka/Värmdö/Tyresö (36), Haninge/Nynäshamn/Huddinge/Botkyrka (37), Södertälje (38), Regional unit for 3 (39);
4 = Eastern Sweden including Södermanland (41), Östergötland (42), Jönköping (43), Gotland (44), Regional unit for 4 (49);
5 = Western Sweden (Västra Götaland and Halland regions), including Gothenburg (51), Älvsborg (52), Skaraborg (53), Fyrbodal (54), Halland (55), Regional unit for 5 (59);
6 = Southern Sweden including Kalmar (61 for police, 68 for fire/rescue and EMS), Kronoberg (67), Blekinge (66), Skåne (61, 62, 63, 64, 65), Regional unit for 6 (69);
7 = Not directly specified location
The digits after and including the fourth digit are the number of the vehicle itself, and can have different meanings depending on department and location. For example, 7xxx in police vehicles always means it's a traffic unit, xx30 in fire vehicles always means it's a ladder vehicle, etc.
Examples:
1 39-1900 (0:06) is a regional police vehicle for Stockholm region which is a regional supervisor,
1 31-9310 (0:27) is a police vehicle from Stockholm City with the number 9310,
1 39-9310 (2:26) is a regional police vehicle for Stockholm region (regional K9 unit) with the number 9310
Some other examples:
2 51-1430 is a fire/rescue ladder truck from Gothenburg with the number 1430
3 21-9010 is an ambulance from Uppsala with the number 9010
Tror väl inte att polisen rycker ut med Saab 90 så ofta längre, men frän var den 😁
Det är troligtvis en Saab 900 sedan av årsmodell 1982-1986. Saab 90 var en lite mindre instegsmodell, en moderniserad 99 med lånat bakparti från 900 sedan. Vill minnas att Saab 90 bara fanns som tvådörrars.
Speciellt inte när den inte ägs av polisen 😁

Det är dock en Saab 900 från 1984, Saab 90 har samma front som Saab 99.

It's not illegal to have American police vehicles in Sweden as the words Police or Sheriff is not official words. You can even have the light bars but only red light is allowed to function as blue lights are exclusive to emergency vehicles. There is lot's of American police cars in Sweden.

The lights aren't broken, they're red and used for pulling drivers over

@SwedishModding it's same like Ukraine, patrol police using blue light, but when need to pull over or response code 3 - turn on red lights
Siren is probably turned off because they are close to the ongoing crime they are responding to and don't want to alert or scare the criminal, the other grill light is red and used to display stop signal rather than emergency response

Är det ett pågående brott i närheten som han rycker ut till så brukar man stänga av sirenen för att inte skrämma bort den som begår brottet

Eftersom polis bussen var redan på utryckning till ett larm så har dom inte tid med att bötfälla en som kör i bussfilen.

1:00 förmodligen inte på utryckning utan snarare så att han inte ville stå i kö. Hade han varit på utryckning så hade han kört betydligt fortare och med siren
