New subscriber here. Great videos! I'm still running grandpa's Pacific C press. I recently had a quick change plate made, and now it sits on the Ultramount. A good single stage will always have its place on the bench.
I just got this press as my very first one, I’ve been learning a lot on YT but have an older gentleman actually teaching me the proper way to do things. I dig that mount that you have man
RCBS Summit press for me, I started with Lees Precision then Hornady single stage press, but since not never the green RCBS came home last night. I been reloading 30 years, always something new to learn.
Grate video. I seen Gavins video. Got friend that got that press he loves it. I don't got space for full set up like that i was looking at full lee kit. But space is low here renting from family. Plus got little ones around my wife watch nephew . So right know I been think of getting a Lee Handpress and all small stuff and small scale and work from their i don't plan load bulk just hunting and target ammo and straight case rifle
Love the RockChucker but I'm ready to move up to a t-7 turret press. Someday I will own one 👍 as always Great Video Squatch, I love your attention to detail! 👊😎🇺🇸
Based on Gavin’s 14 press study I picked up a Rock Chucker a couple of months ago. It, along with some quality Redding dies, has made a world of difference in the quality of my rifle rounds. I don’t use it for decapping or priming, but I am considering that 3-D printed device you have. It’s not just a beast, it’s a very precise beast. There are always gripes with specific brands. But the fact remains this press just works and works better than most others.
It's an awesome press iv made afew thousand rounds with it and I now use it for swaging 22lr brass for tips and have a mec marksman on the side and a dedicated decapping press in the rs5
I Never owned a single stage until recently I went backwards lol I do like Rcbs and will eventually add something from their press line, I spent the past few days on the Lyman 8 probably have 15hrs total in prep and loading
At Squatch Reloading, at 2:39 you talk about the 3d printed kit that comes with block-off plates to be inserted into the ram to contain and route them into the primer catch container for the expended primers. Where did you purchase your kit (3d printed primer catch container, hose and block-off plates) at? I'm currently looking at In Line Fabrication
I bought one in Amazon and I received it without the spring and the primer plugs. I contacted RCBS and never answered to me, I ended up buying the missing parts, is more faster than return and get another one. Maybe good press buy bad customer service experience.
Does this press have the ability to add a primer tube with a push rod like the Lyman victory and all american 8? I was considering the victory as a first press but the fact that it can't take the hornady LNL bushings is making me lean more towards this press
Also you can add the bushings to this press. It utilizes a 1 1/4 bushing that is for the standard die threads. If you remove this you can add the LNL bushings
Dan I haven’t used one personally so so can not comment. I do use the lever style primer on the press. It works well. I do use the Redding version of the auto prime on my T7 and I haven’t had any issues there. I will say I have heard similar complaints about the Lyman system for what it’s worth.
I bought this press several years ago. It has a lot of sideways play in the ram. I use it as a universal decap station only. I would never load any precision ammo on it. Redding T7, and MEC marksman are my picks over RCBS .

Inline Fabrication made the mount.

If you are decapping on press I highly recommend the printed primer catch.
Awesome I just purchased this press kit about an hr ago and been watching reloading videos for afew weeks now
Do you like it after a year?
It's an awesome press iv made afew thousand rounds with it and I now use it for swaging 22lr brass for tips and have a mec marksman on the side and a dedicated decapping press in the rs5
Not a single complaint
Where does one find the file to 3D print the primer catch?
Do you have the file number for the 3d printed primer catch? Or a link to it
Where did you get the primer catch system? At first, I thought it was Inline Fab, but after watching the video again, I see it isn’t.
I Never owned a single stage until recently I went backwards lol I do like Rcbs and will eventually add something from their press line, I spent the past few days on the Lyman 8 probably have 15hrs total in prep and loading
Too many presses are never a problem.
Should include a link to your upgrades. Thx

I purchased from eBay a couple years of go.
Can you touch up and show pics of how long you use the VLD champfer tool on 223?
I run it till it bottoms out on the flash hole

Yes it does. www.rcbs.com/presses/single-stage/rock-chucker-supreme-auto-prime/16-9358.html

Ok, yea I found the auto prime system on Midway. They seem to be finicky. Have you ever used one? Or do you just load them individually

@@SquatchReloaded thanks man! Keep the great content comin!
Where did you purchase the stand that hold the press? Is it better to use the stand or the flush mount?
Using a stand is completely your preference. These are from Inline Fabrication
One doesn't need those silly die bushings? Sweet!
Is that the harbor freight workbench and if so. Is it pretty stable for reloading?
Yeah they are. I added some supports and they work fine. Not recommended for anything like an XL750
Just looking to get into reloading - great video!

Do you have a source for the 3D printed primer catcher
Check out a group on Facebook loader tools I believe. You can also find them on Amazon
