What's it like-Getting started in Stata

Want to know how to conduct a basic data analysis using Stata? We show you just that. This is supposed to be an intro: "Getting started with STATA. As with all tech people, the author goes too fast and covers too many details. The author assumes you have a background in Stata language, but as a beginner, I don't have. I would need to listen and pause the video a few times to get a handle on this.

In Stata's Command window, type *sysuse auto* . In the 'File' dropdown, select 'Export' and then 'Data to Excel spreadsheet'. This will save the data in Excel format and place it in your Stata folder. Contact [e-mail] if you have any further questions and someone will be happy to help out.
