Wow! So much good advice. I’m familiar with the 1%/99% rule… 1% of your customers give you 99% of your grief. You might have kept me from quitting today. I’ve been so discouraged and nothing seems to be helping. I guess I’ll hang in a little longer. Concentrate on making more products. Thank you.

This is the best video for PODers. I get asked a lot of questions every day from my fellow Zazzlers that are having a hard time with sales and I'm sending them all this video. In fact I almost want to make a video just telling people to watch this video.

#26: be careful with licenses on creative fabrica! It‘s a fantastic page with loads of great design elements, BUT: it‘s not enough when, say, a font bundle or some graphics or other items say „commercial use included“, if it has only that it means you need to CHANGE the design to make it your own before you can use it for sales. Only if it says „commercial uses PLUS full POD license“, only then it can be used AS IS. Other than that, super helpful video for newbies like me 👍
Beer and Sunshine is a country song by Darius Rucker. The only BS I need is Beer and Sunshine is a lyric from the song. Always check trademarks before creating designs.

Hey Philip, I'm 2 months in, UK based trying to sell POD on etsy both in UK and US and getting to grips with it all. So firstly its good to find a UK based you tuber / influencer person.. But i would like to say well done about the piece of advice about finding it rewarding. You are right that people don't mention it, and its vital that as a seller, designer, entrepreneur etc that you get something else from it other than the dough, has to be a more personal value in it. Receiving information is one thing, but actually implementing what you’ve learned is another story. You will be one of the 5% or less of the people if you have been taking action right after you learned something new :)

Sawatdee krub FC! Different POD platforms work little differently even though their models are similar. If you are completely new to POD, I suggest you start with one platform first to get yourself familiar with the upload process, settings, etc. Perhaps TeePublic can be a good platform for complete beginners :)

I seriously love your stuff but your facebook group....your POD dummy guide (which i signed up for yet cannot seem to find how to access what i "signed up for") is beyond confusing to locate... i am so lost with all your pages to page to pages to oh... back to the first page circles

What i find insulting is in POD you literally selling your talent for piss money
With that thinking you've already failed. You make one design that can be sold forever. That's the value in print on demand. Versus making one design you can only sell one time.
If you make a design and sell it on a shirt and sell 20 of them and get $3 per shirt you just made $60.
If you instead put the design on one shirt and just sold that shirt for $20. All you ever make is $20 until you make a new design on a new shirt.
