Thanks Ryan I got it now thank you
🖐
I really needed this. Thank you for all the free tutorials u make. They are really helpful for learning and understanding the tools❤❤
You're very welcome!
Absolutely brilliant tutorial! I needed a way to model vines to export to another software package. This not only helped me achieve that, but I now know how I can modify each item to suit my specific needs. Thank you!
Thank you. This is lovely. This was just what I needed to redo a scene I've been working on. My old vines were painstaking and heavy and not easy to adjust with skin modifier and particle systems. One of my first adventures with geometry nodes.
Awesome! You're a really good teacher, I learned procedural texturing with your videos 😊 It's super cool that you're dealing with geometry nodes now too ! Thank you!! 🙌🙏
thanks for watching!
so cool and so useful! thank youvery much and a happy new year
Happy new year!
Yaaaaai! Geo node tutorial!
thanks!
This is amazing!
thanks!
Amazing!! ❤
thanks!
Great one, Ryan! I learned a lot, again! Geometry nodes are top.
Thanks for watching!
Very useful tutorial. Your channel is like a treasure
thank you!😀
Your tutorial helps me alot all the time huge thanks to you
thanks for watching!
*_Perfect!!!!_*
thanks!
Nice, easy and clean. Thanks.

This guy is obviously a genius. How he intuitively and effortlessly do this is mind blowing
glad you like it 👍
👏👏👏Thanks friend for this great tutorial, really very useful and it comes at a time when I have to work a lot with this type of plants, thanks so much for this mega tool and Happy New Year!!!!
thanks for watching!
This in incredible ! Thank you so much for this tutorial ! I loved it !
glad you like it!
@@RyanKingArt maybe you can help me.. I want to draw the vines on the top and sides of a cylinder. Maybe you have a practical way to do it ?
Thank you, Ryan! I hope you can make more tutorials on the Geometry Nodes topic. Happy 2024.
I have plans to make many more geometry node tutorials. And also, I'm currently working on a geometry nodes beginner series. 😉
Amazing 🤩🤩
thanks!
Thanks for another great tutorial.
welcome!
Amazing!!!!🎉
thanks!
great tutorial thanks
You're welcome!
very good!
Thanks!
Happy new year bro
More Geo Nodes Tuts please.
Happy New Year!
Awesome tutorial, Ryan. I follow along with this as I will be free❤❤❤❤🙏👍👍👌
thanks for watching!
Brilliant as always like the ivy leaves I'm also old and worn 😂😂😂😂😂😂
😄
Wow.
thanks!
Made it tonight and love it! Quick question...drawing the vines on a surface it's going through the mesh. Not sure how to keep it above the surface and not have the leaves go through the plane. Is there a node setup for that or a setting in the draw tool I'm not seeing. Thanks!
I love your tutorials. Thank you for all the effort you put into them. Concerning this tutorial, I was having a problem with the "leaves amount". The slider would not increase beyond 1.0. That, I think, was because the "leaves amount" maximum value -- under the default max/min values in the node group -- was set to 1.0; I reset it to 100. Now the slider's maximum is also 100 but I don't see any increase in the amount of leaves beyond 1.0. I thought that might be due to the resolution ( not enough faces for the points to distribute on ) but increasing that didn't solve it. Just wondering whether anyone but me had a similar issue.
I love you!! Where have you been?? Thanks. Very nice and simple
glad you enjoyed the tutorial
Thank you teacher. Can you do bamboo if you get the chance?
thanks for the idea!
is there a way to make the vines smaller in general ? because mine are way too big for my scene
Great video, but my leafs are flat, even when i apply scale and rotation with ctrl + a why?
Thanks for this. I have two problems.
1. My leaves from vine 1 stick into vine 2 and the leaves from vine 2 stick into vine 1.
2. If I try to animate any parameter the leaves appear and dissapear fully in some spots from one frame to another.
Do you know a solution for this?
Just one more thing, Ryan: how do I apply the effect to export the vines to other applications as a mesh?
That was exactly what I also was wondering; apply them as a mesh to make a curtain out of it.
@@YourTele-sFabulous He answered me in another video: put the "Realize Instances" node at the end of the Geo nodes and convert it to mesh.
Oh thank you!!!🎉
hi how can i apply geometry node to curve but still has leaves because i can't import vines into unity engine
everything works for me but the leaf adding. :( What could be the problem?
Devine, “de-vine”, wine 🍾
🙂
Hi there! Please tell me how to change the size of the ivy. Regular "Scale" is not suitable for this. The problem is that I wanted to use this ivy for the game Fallout 4. However, all the sizes in the Bethesda game engine (Fallout 4 and Skyrim) do not correspond to the real sizes. This is much larger than the actual dimensions. For example, an ordinary chair from Fallout has a height of 84 meters, a character is 135 meters. For this reason, your ivy in the game is smaller than the grass under your feet. Microscopic size.
Please tell me how to adjust the size. I couldn't figure it out on my own. ☹
Hi, I got a question not related to the videos topic so if you won't answer, no problem.
I use Blender for years now and it work fine, getting better with every new version. But one thing doesn't work continuously and I have no idea why.
If I open the Windows file browser and want to open, let's say a picture, I double click on the file and an app associated with the file type opens the file. In case of a jpg file, in my case Irwan View opens. If I try to open a blender file that way, Blender pop's up for a second and chrashes without an error message.
It just vanished.
This behavior is consistent over all the years I use Blender, let's say for the last 8-10 versions.
Would be nice to know if other people have made the same observation and came up with an explanation or a fix for this "problem".
Thanks in advance and have a great new year 2024.
I purchased this from gumroad, but I'm having trouble fitting it into my project. It doesn't appear in "asset browser", why? Anyone who can help me? I urgently need it :(
This product was not set up for the asset browser, so just use Blender's append feature to add it to your projects. Or you can add it as an asset and set it up in the asset browser yourself.
Just purchased the vines generator. Can someone tell me how to install it and fire it up in blender? please?
Its not an Addon, so you don't install anything. Its a Geometry Node modifier setup. you can use Blender's append feature to add the ivy and vines into your projects.
Sir please tell me how to creat wind blowing tree with large no of tree with close leave camera please sir
thanks for the tutorial idea
36:27 "Falling so slow..."
what do you mean?
How can I convert it to mesh??? When I apply function "covert to mesh" all leaves are disappears 😐
add the realize instances node at the end of the geo-nodes setup. then apply it.
I want to get it from Gumroad to support your channel. I am fairly new to Blender, so this might be a silly question, but will they be like a scene when I open it, or is there a way to pull it up in any scene?
You can use the append feature in Blender. To add in the geo-node vines into any other blender file, just open the file that you want to add it into. Then click on file, and append. Then locate to the geometry nodes file, and go into the object folder. select all the objects, and click on, append. You could also just append in the geometry nodes data, and then add it to a curve object.
@@RyanKingArt Thank you so much!
How did you join the meshes of the leaves without changing the material of one of them?
they both had the same material
I mean, each invididual leaf has the same material but their appearances varies. And whenever i join two different leaves their "looks" merge too@@RyanKingArt
that's because the UV maps are placed on different leaves on the texture @@All2D-BaL
sir upload characters creation tutorials
thanks for the tutorial request
