  • Who here remembers the Ibanez Talman Electric Guitar from the 90's? Noodles from The Offspring has one? Anyway, in 2015 Ibanez released the first Talman bass. Since then, they've refined and released a slew of different models, and today we dive into the Ibanez Talmab TMB100 in Mustard Yellow Flat!
    In this video, Jimi reviews the Ibanez TMB100M Talman Bass in Mustard Yellow Flat. We run through the design, the specs and even a tone demo.

    Buying my first bass (that I haven't just 'long term' borrowed 😂). Love that the demo was played with both fingers and pick, no nonsense. Very much enjoyed, thanks lad 👌

    Another 'to the point' video. Was going to get one but saw the 310 for a ridiculously low price and opted for that instead. I absolutely love it, such a joy to play. I think it'll be the bass I keep and modify in the future

      Thank you Hamish, there are many variants of the Talman Bass and I hope to try at least a few of them! The 310 is such a beautiful example and would love to review one, they’re a bit rare now! Thanks for watching

      @@91cog I only seem to see the 30 and the 100 these days. The 600 looked great but I think they stopped making them too

    I'd recommend a tmb600 if you wanted something like this with a nicer neck and a passive option. In love with mine!!

      Thank you for the suggestion! I’m hoping to try a few different variants of the Talman and the 600 certainly looks like a high quality example. Thanks for watching!

    if you had to choose between TMB100 and TMB30?

    • @91cog
      @91cog  Před 3 lety +1

      I think I may need to get a TMB30 on the channel and compare the two. I’d prefer the passive pickup arrangement of the 30, but would really need to dive into a comparison to pick a clear winner. Thanks for watching!
