Tour of the 3 most important points of this municipality: Salt del Molí Fondo (01:40), Sant Joan les Fonts Monastery (07:20) and Juvinyà Castle (09:55).
Salt del Molí Fondo is an old paper mill from the 18th century that took advantage of the force of the waterfall for its production. It is surrounded by a natural setting of great beauty due to the fact that it combines water, vegetation and volcanic stone in a pentagonal shape (basalt columns) that are unique formations in the entire Iberian Peninsula. In the same environment we can find the 12th century medieval bridge made of volcanic stone and the new church of San Juan from the s. XIX.
Further down at the end of the town, following the river, we find the Monastery of Sant Joan les Fonts, a Romanesque building declared a national monument in 1981 that must also be seen for the beauty of both its structure and its surroundings.
Finally at the other end and also next to the river we find the Castle of Juvinyà or strong house, which has its origins in the 11th century and had also functioned as a mill.
