the beautiful thing about this show is how much room the actors have room to make the role their own. jordan and reeve's orpheus both work in this show, even though their portrayal of the same character is vastly different.

omg this is so beautiful. his voice is so gorgeous and relaxing. his extra riff on “he started to sing” is amazing. the emotion throughout the whole song is beyond extraordinary. he is everything this role requires and more. beautiful🌹

I was on the fence about Fisher being cast and was unbelievably wrong. I played this and listened with my sister. By the end she was on the floor and I was weeping.
Alright, let's hear this guy sing one of the objectively most beautiful songs ever written in any genre.
He's got the most amazing voice, I could listen to Jordan sing anything, anytime. I love that he's Orpheus now so much! The fact he isn't a tenor and adds deeper notes but can still hit the high notes is just ear candy.
You couldn't ask for a better person to fill Reeves shoes... such a beautiful performance
This is my fave hadestown song and i love this rendition! It brings me a tiny bit closer to Damon Daunno. ❤ It reminds me of the sweetness in Jordan's voice when he did Mark in Rent.

As of right now he is set to still be on the show till end of the first quarter of 2024. So he should still be around in March!

He is playing for real. He actually played a few wrong chords his first night (nothing major though!) For example 3:38 in this video isn't right, along with the next few chords. But he fixes it pretty smoothly

Philip Boykin plays Hades. I’ve seen the play on the 26th of December, and let me tell you, his Hades is absolutely great. He plays him very differently from the other actor, mostly because his voice is deeper, but he gave me chills every time he sang

Much better than Reeve.
Clearly you havent seen Reeve live. He created the role that we know today or else we would have had a stuck up Orpheus and reeve's voice is just as pure. Alot of jordan's vocals sounds like inspiration from Reeve while making it his own so it's not a total copy.
