    JC- what a legend. The club wouldn't exist now without this mentalist. It was an amazing season from that point on, and we so nearly got out of it. IMO in hindsight, maybe going down to the Conference was the best thing that could have happened to the club, as although the football was dire the next season we did start to win more games than we lost for the first time in years and that momentum seems to have carried on, in the main, since.

    Paul Simpson was a snake and betrayed his Boss Roddy Collins who brought him to the club as a player....

      Did Simpson not get two back to back promotions with Carlisle? If he was a snake he was a very successful one!

    At least Carlisle got rid of that conman and fraudster knighton , he is still conning his way through life , a Jimmy Saville character waiting to get exposed
