Nothing beats seeing Elephants in the wild, in their natural habitat. We were lucky enough to have encounters with herds of elephant grazing and bathing in the wild!

We use the Sony Alpha a6600 Mirrorless Digital Camera for the majority of our videos. We also use the Gopro hero 8 camera for our water based filming and action footage.
The drone we use is the DJI Mavic Air which we highly recommend if you are wanting a small easy to use drone.

So I cried the whole time, just like Gran🤣. Amazing vlog!!!!!!. To be so close to herds of elephants....😯😯😯. I was surprised it was just u both and Leel ( total sweetheart, by the way). I'd imagined it would be a group tour like u see in big parks in Kenya. Guess it was arranged thru u accommodation? How much was the day tour?. I wasn't grossed out by the crock eating the water buffalo...like you said Matty, the circle of life. Definitely added this to my bucket list. Just wow!!!!!🥰🥰🥰

You can book private tours which is what we did but I think everyone in the park that day had a private tour. Such is travel at the moment.
I think we paid $170 for the private tour! So cheap for a full day exploring the park and having all of those encounters 😊

for your information there are about 600 to 800 elephants 🐘 in this national park .Srilanka has around 8000+ elephants 🐘 in all the parks.
All together numbering 26 National Parks including botanical gardens, tropical rain forest,birds sanctuaries,
And also plenty of historical sites with ancient cities, ancient temples, ruins, Can experience different climatic conditions just a matter of few hours, many mountains for hiking, 126 water falls. 365 days with perfect weather, sunshine, sea and beautiful beaches, nice train rides with breathtaking veiws.
Plenty of fruits and vegetables with delicious local cuisine. Country can cater to individual needs of each and every travellers dream.

@@ACoupleOfKiwis Rugby has already grown in Sri Lanka. It's like a national sport. There are many high school teams and clubs where young men play. But the national team doesn't do well I believe because the team do not have sufficient coaching. Sri Lanka rugby team needs qualified coaching personnel from a country like New Zealand. Did you not see people playing rugby in school grounds when you were there in Sri Lanka?

We saw rugby fields but no one playing. Our driver told us Rugby was big in Kandy though 😊

Hi guys, thanks for this helpfull video!! Congratulations. My wife and i are planning our Safari in Udawalawa ant he hotel gave us different options (3, 6 & 12 hours tour). Please, could you please recommend us the best option based in you experience there? Thx again
Hi guys. We don't think 3 hours would be enough. 6 or 12 would be the best. We did the 12 hour and the last few hours of the day were tiring as we were lucky enough to have seen a lot in the first part of the day
