      @Noor Fatima, thank you for your kind words. I should have more time after finish teaching my online course mid Sep. Hopefully will have more time to make videos then! I really appreciate for your support here! Berberine is a naturally occurring compound in many plants. Some Chinese herbs have this compound , one of the main one is called Huang Lian, 黄连. But please don't take this herb without consulting a Chinese medicine practitioner, as it can be quite cooling, not everyone is suitable for it.

      @Noor Fatima, my pleasure ☺️ I do try my best to answer questions when I have time. I'm so happy to hear you appreciate it. ☺️ I don't think I will make a video specifically for berberine. As for your case, maybe best speak with your family doctor if s/he is open for you to try and s/he can monitor your response to it.

    • @ChineseHerbalPantry
      @ChineseHerbalPantry  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Hi @tichellesey , dear fellow TCM student! Nice to meet you here😊 As for the course, as long as you don't mind some of the lessons in the course are something you have already learned in your TCM studies, eg the TCM fundamentals and the basics of Chinese herbs. In fact, I have a number of practising TCM practitioners and TCM students enrolled in my last two classes. When they approached me, I was shocked as I told them this course would be too basic for them and only for general public. They ended up all took the course and really enjoyed as I was told this aspect of TCM (aka cooking with Chinese herbs) are not taught in their TCM schools. Another feedback I received was they quite like the ways I explained the basic concepts, a little different from how their professors explained. I guess it is because I know my students don't have TCM background as I try to use simpler language and use more analogies. Hope the above help and clarify. You can read some of the feedbacks of the course here as you can see some are written by TCM practitioners. chineseherbalpantry.com/herbal-holistic-health-course/#letters . Please feel free to reach out ( hello@chineseherbalpantry.com ) if you have any other questions. Please note the enrollment will close on 3rd August. If you are interested in sharing with your future patients how to cook with Chinese herbs, I am looking forward to seeing you in the course! 😊
