+Timmy Hazeltine The nylon is very thin and does last a long time, but I don't recall thinking it was especially good for string tension stuff.

That yoyo is no longer made, so we cannot put it back in stock. In its place we now recommend the Oracle.

Nice beard! I have a question, what are your thoughts on nylon kitty string, I tried kitty fat and it's nice, but it didn't hold its tension as well as I would have hoped, and it didn't last very long.
I want a yo yo so bad I don't have one😥

Unfortunately, since the yoyo is stainless steel and made in the US I doubt a budget option will be coming any time soon.

If you use regular string you will not be able to get enough wraps around the yoyo to get enough spin out of your throw.

For a gift for a yoyoer,would you like to receive a Nine Dragons or Mighty Flea?
It depends on how experienced they are. If they are a new yoyoer go for the Nine Dragons. If they are very good go for the Mighty Flea.

We are not fans of Magic yoyos. If you already have one, it should be enough to get you started, but if not there are better options I would suggest.

+Jack Ripper It is currently in stock. It only looked like it was out of stock because the string that was selected by default was no longer available, but I have fixed that now. That being said, for a first yoyo that may not be the right choice, since it is for more advanced tricks. I would recommend a yoyo that can play responsive, since those are easier for getting started, something like the Sage. Of course, if you are determined, you should be able to get up to speed with the Space Cowboy, it might just be challenging at the beginning.

What is the sleep time?
+ethan dinh We haven't tested it, but sleep time is not really something one thinks about with the Mighty Flea. What is fun is trying to get your technique down so good that you can do your most difficult tricks with such a tiny yoyo.

i want to get a new yoyo, at the moment i have the magic t5 overlord, i just learnt cold fusion, i don't really like plastic yoyos and i don't want to spend loads of money, what would you recommend?
I recommend the Horizon it's an amazing metal yoyo and only about $40.

+super nova We just added the Yomega Glide to our store, but we we able to get it for nearly half the price it has been listed previously. I think that is your best bet. In the past that yoyo has been over $60, but we are able to sell it for $37.99 because we worked out a deal with Yomega. It plays like a $60 yoyo, and is excellent for all kinds of tricks.

+TDM Cap The key is proper technique. If you keep everything perfectly straight it can actually sleep a pretty long time.
