And I havent played since the week of his release either. I rlly want to love war frame cause of how fun the mechanics and movement are but once ur done with all the quests the game feels too gindy

@@ToyotaCorolla-en2mv I agree with the whole getting to a point of nothing really left to do but I'm an old Wow player so I think I was numbed to repetitive gameplay due to daily quests and the long gap between expansions so I don't notice it as much.

there’s a new Modern Warfare II from 2022 and the old one from 2009, called Modern Warfare 2. it’s basically a series reboot, they’re 2 completely different games and they did the same thing in 2019 for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and they called the new one Call of Duty: Modern Warefare. Very confusing, I know, it doesn’t stop there. The campaigns have the same main characters but completely different stories in different settings… with the same factions and characters… and now they’re making a Modern Warfare III allegedly) and it’s not a remake of the old Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 from 2011. the ultimate brain rot lmao
They rebooted their Modern Warfare. Story wise same named characters with a setting that varies from a little to drastically different from the original settings
So yes there are two different MW2. Plus a remaster of the original.

Here is the quick summary of why There are 2 modern warfare 2's. this mw2 is a sequel to 2019's, which is a reboot of the originals. There were 3 modern warfares that came before the 2 reboots.
oooh. That....makes sense. Still a confusing naming convention, especially since there isn't like...a story with Modern Warfare, right?. Why do you need to reboot the originals? Why not just keep coming out with games?
@Chicago Reacts all (besides black ops 4) the call of dutys have campaigns that have a story along with multiplayer so its reboots for that reason because the 3rd mw ends the trilogy infinity ward made. And for a stylistic change making it more 'realistic'. Theres like 20 games that have different settings and narratives along with different multiplayer changes. Theres even zombies modes that have storylines and stuff in certain games.They churn one out every year between 3 studios.

SBMM sounds good on paper but it actually doesn’t work properly in recent cods and I will argue this point until the end of the universe. Fighting similarly skilled players isn’t the issue it’s that doing good once and I’m not exaggerating here when I say this will put you against players you have no right to play against. Who will absolutely wipe the floor with you for like 3 matches, this in turn causes you to then be paired against lower skilled players who you wipe the floor with. This then cause you again to be paired against players who you shouldn’t be playing against, rinse and repeat.
yeah, that sounds....convoluted and awful. Too bad, I love the idea

the idea behind "skill based matchmaking" is that CoD do not really take skill into account. just results, a win=go up a loss=go down reset console/session=reset matchmaking
so the actual situation is:
you're gold 5 in league.
you get paired vs irons, you C R U S H them. like a 50 K/D ratio.
you then get paired against diamonds, because the game took the ratio into account, not your performance. you get bulldozed
the game then sets you against silvers, you crush them.
you get paired with platinum then, you get stomped.
then you log off because no game was satisfying,
tomorrow you reload, the matchmaking is reset, you fight irons, again.
repeat ad-nauseam.
the idea behind skill-based raking is vital, but if the game cheats or doesn't take skill into account, or worse, if the ranking can be bypassed (looking at you YGO master duel) it's as if you didn't add anything.
the idea is good, but if you do not keep your cool easily, this matchmaking will be a huge pain and reason enough to refund.

As someone who's been playing since the original 2007 Modern Warfare, I can assure you it's not good. It sounds good on paper, I know. But it practice, it's not.
In 2007, I had good games. I had bad games. I had games where I was a god. I had games where I got destroyed. It was fun.
Here's how it works now: You play a match. You do well. Then for the next 3 matches you get raked over the coals because the game decided you're a pro and you're matched with a lobby of aimbotting PC players. Then, after you get wrecked a few matches, the game says "You're clearly a toddler with no thumbs, here's an easy lobby." You play a match. You do well. The cycle is repeated.
