Thank you sir! Many more video on the way to entertain and amuse haha ;p
Hey guys just an added note from me I am aware it is not a fibre optic cable I meant a HDMI but due to nerves slipped and said fibre optic however the idea using small straps to secure them still stands and I hope it helps
Loving the 80's VHS filter. Great video by the way, by far one of the best I've seen on CZcams thus far. Bravo.
Shey Shah haha I don't record my face normally, if I end up doing more 'real world' stuff I'll have to upgrade the 'filming' equipment. Heh
I've noticed that if you wear the back of the headset up higher, you get less pressure on your head resulting in a more comfortable wear, other than that though, great advice; Especially about the double Reflection in the lenses. That's definitely something that needs to be more known.
TTT 333 happy to help buddy :)
What double reflections
And that’s right. Where it higher at the back
Well done video man. Great tips and information here.
conkerlive101 Hey Conker, thanks man, not best recoding but I wanted to get some of this out there :)
Damn, didn’t know Quentin Tarantino knew so much about VR..
Anyways, great tips!
I just unplugged those cables you said we shouldn’t unplug right before I watched the video lol.. Went straight over to plug them back in🤿
Proper happy to have helped! Its the only reason I make these videos so im thrilled for you buddy and have fun in VR!
your fishtank needs a clean lol good vid very helpful :)
Thanks
Really helpful mate, you have some cool tips that I haven't seen mentioned in similar videos on other channels !!
Nick Frost Glad to be of service buddy! I try to be original, no point saying the same as every other video. Plus I find people overlook how something is made. Games or otherwise :)
Very helpful, definitely will help me when I get one, someday...
Very helpful! Thanks for this!
APointlessFish Anything I can do to help buddy :) Ya more than welcome.
Very helpful. I've dropped a like and subscribed
Grumpy Ageing Gamer PSVR your very welcome! And thanks for the sub, I promise to keep up the content! :)
Wow thanks ! I was wondering why it felt wrong when I was wearing it. LOL
I love your explanation! Thank you so much! :)
Thank you for the really useful video. I must have a really weird shaped head because I can't wear the strap at the base of my skull lol. If I do I get a ton of light bleed at the bottom of the screen. Mine seems to angle upwards so I have to wear the strap at the back of my skull so the lenses / eye shield thing sits tighter on my face. Any thoughts at all? Maybe version 2 of the headset is different to the first one?
thanks mate, this is helpful
Rolando Rivera your welcome
Thank you💯🙌🏿💯
Atleast u have a headset then no headset :D
I'm from Mississippi. We don't just have Duck tape. We use it.
Great talk.. :)
my head must be MUCH bigger than yours... i need the "strap" to be very close to the top of my head.
Bro, none of the PSVR cables are fiber optic. The metal contacts are clearly visible on all of the connectors.
ytmndan Your not the first to notice ;) I wasn't sure what it was internally but it's the issue of wear and tear that matters and how it should be supported. All advice given to me by Sony when I replaced my broken one. But your totally right.
What fluid to use cleaning Len's on PSVR in UK ?
None. I use the cloth that came with
@@TheVRSofa thank you for responding. I bought mine 2nd hand but it's in really good shape but no cloth came with it. So NO FLUID EVER and buy a microfiber cloth ?
@@tjuk8050 i don't think there is anything bad about using a fluid :) however most microfiber cloth is fine and.certainly the vr headset comes with one. (Which is what I used for years until I lost it) so I wouldn't panic. I'd like to add that mine (even with all the care in the world) has a few scratches on the lenses. But hasn't even affected gameplay. So yeah, be careful and look after the headset but don't worry TOO much, they are built to last of looked after ;p
@@TheVRSofa no probz thank you. Just went to shop that sells glasses and they gave me a microfiber cloth for free. Should of bought adult diapers before I played re7 lol thanks for responding peace out.
Subed
jfmthuglove thanks buddy! It's been a while since this video I should really do another haha. ;p
How to place the camera? i am sit on my sofa, the camera need to see my feets?
At 0:35 you can see his face
You found me haha XD but I don't hide haha I just feel the game and the vr itself in my content is more important than my ego haha ;p
I’m sorry too say but this product is a piece off crap !! It’s basic and poor the visuals are blurry and you get motion sickness fast ! People don’t buy this just go for a pc headset
Ah VR gatekeeping at its finest. As a developer myself Im glad your happy with your experience on pc. But art is art and people pour their hearts into their games, so we'll continue to enjoy working on and playing vr titles on all platforms if its all the same to you ;)
I’ve played an HTC Vive headset and I own the PSVR. While the Vive provides a crisper image and has better tracking, there is nothing wrong with PSVR for people like me that can’t afford to spend thousands and don’t have the room for a big VR setup.
Maybe think about things like that before commenting crap like this.
(BTW, I never got motion sickness from PSVR. I did from the Vive)
Im with Billy Jean on this, I respectfully disagree with this comment by VR Sofa. Sometimes even if you pour your soul into an art form, it doesnt turn out great. This isnt gate keeping at all because ive never used another vr set to compare it to. This product is not very good at all. The picture looks terrible, the field of view is so bad that i cant even move my eyes left or right at all without seeing the edges of the lense and getting a blur and a 3d affect that shows two objects instead of one up close. Yes ive done all the calibration and eye tracking multiple times.
In RE7 when Ethan puts his hands up to guard, i have to cross my eyes to get rid of the duplicated arms. And the floating arms doesnt help with immersion at all. Animations are missing and you get blank screens for multiple seconds while an animation is supposed to be playing, cutscenes arent in vr at all youre just looking at a screen in a black void. You have to hold the option button before doing anything that requires the action button, if not then the animation happens behind you. sometimes the game pauses instead of resetting with the options button resulting in a ton of deaths that isnt the player"s fault at all. The quality is terrible terrible and you can count the pixels on letters on screen, sometimes even showing a rainbow effect on white lines and white lettering.
While wearing the psvr headset you have to imagine that you are that you are seeing things in a higher quality, if that makes sense. To me its less immersive and harder to imagine that you are there, than watching it on a tv that shows a nice image and you can actually control. My TV almost feels more immersive because im not fighting all these bs troubles that comes with the vr. Its an opinion, not gatekeeping. If this thing was like 90 bucks i wouldnt care. But this is terrible value.
