My favourite is still brotherhood, due to the time period and the characters and narrative, but unity is a close second for the gameplay, I like that the different types of weapons actually require different tactic and combat style, instead of just waiting for an attack, counter and kill and having enemies take turns attacking you. this was the time when ubisoft decided to remove the insta-counter-kills or killstreaks in the game, and transition to an advanced version of a beat-em-up combat.
then this combat system becomes fully realized when ubi made For Honor. Origins, pretty much blends the combat system from both Syndicate and For Honor.
To this day, I enjoyed the combat of both origins and odyssey. It's too fun, it's not overly exploitable, and you can make your own strategies in dealing with many enemies.

I had a blast with the combat in Brotherhood and Revelations, actually forces you to think and strategise based upon what weapon you have, how many enemies you’re up against, their positioning, your footwork and a billion other variables. In Brotherhood, the Dagger of Romulus is such a satisfying weapon to use and in general, I loved every part of Brotherhood/Revelations combat system, the kill streaks, the mobility options and expanded tool kit you had for combat, it felt awesome and added to the immersion thay you were this badass Assassin extensively trained and honed for years to become the ultimate killing machine.
