  • Changing disc brake pads are simple on any vehicle, but I don't know how much more simple it could get than on the KTM 390 Adventure. I swap out the original organic pads for EBC HH sintered pads (FA213HH).

revzilla claims these dont fit the adventure 390 - should ignore them?

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, you can ignore Revzilla for these pads. I like buying stuff from Revzilla/CycleGear, but their database is not always up to date when it comes to fitment. When in doubt, contact the manufacturer.

Thanks for the video. Do you know if the front pads are the same as the rear?

If you mean what the material used on the original pads, I would think so. If you're referring to how easy they are to install, the answer is yes, though I haven't changed mine yet. I'll probably change them in the spring when the new season arrives. I've got 5200 miles on the bike and the front pads may be in need of changing. I honestly haven't looked since I put the bike away for the winter.

I sold it and my Triumph Tiger 1050 two months ago to pick up the KTM. The reason is that the next BDRs (ridebdr.org) that I'm going to be doing are quite a ways from where I live, so I wanted a bike that was a bit more capable on the road. Doing the BDRs was the reason I picked up the WR in the first place and it is an awesome bike. I just needed something different for the next rides. So far, I'm loving the KTM 390 Adv.
