  • In Just 14 Days, Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) Led the Hospitals In Oregon in Creating an Online Dashboard of Hospital, ICU and Ventilator Capacity.
It's Purpose: Route Severely Ill COVID-19 Patients To Hospitals Where They Have ICU Beds and Ventilators to Treat Them. Otherwise, Patients Could Die from One Hospital Being Out of Rooms and Ventilators While Another Hospital Has Available Resources to Save Them.
In 4 Weeks, Oregon Had 87% of ALL of the STATE'S Hospital Beds Up and Running on the Dashboard.
This Initiative Was Accomplished So Quickly Because Healthcare Problems are Frequently NOT COMPLICATED. Rather, 'Complicated' is Often a Euphemism for 'Low Priority' or 'Wrong Incentive.'
