Love the new OST. I only wished that Square Enix had it for purchase or a way to download it officially. Thanks for the upload.
Canyon Crow and Hard Drag are my favorites.
thanks for the ost 🔥
Thanks for uploading this!
I wish the re-orchestrated tracks were readily available as stand alone tracks somewhere.
This Is amazing
감사합니다😍
Came here the moment I started the second campaign, Black Hounds absolutely slaps
the general situation is one of my favorite tracks in the game, and they did a wonderful job with the remastered version, the piano in the background was a beautiful touch, it gives that vibe of hope we all need in such horrifying environments, in the games's case a war
Just finished UCS route and despite its shorter length, I found it to be more entertaining and with a better cast of characters. If I had to pick my top 3 songs here they would be Elegie, Destructive Logic and New enemy Turn. Looking foward to FM2, and specially 3!
Me too! I need to play FM2 before it comes out to see just how bad the translation is
Never played the original, was it that bad here?
@@gishathosaurus6828 According to what I've read, there was a fan translation version of the game, but its pretty rough. Not many have played it though, I'll probably make a video about it later on in the year honestly
Advanced Guard is my all time battle OST favorite
Natalie's theme is and was a musical triumph. Just wow.
The Karen theme at the end of the game, with the sunset making the siluettes of our heroes. Actual peak
good. very good.
Love the new soundtrack.
Its one of the best things about the 'Remake' - makes me wonder how cool 2 and 3 are going to sound too :D
@@Woodhouse204 The game had a recent patch that fixes plenty of things. NEVER played 2 or 3. So ANY future complaints from fans about those upcoming games will have no impact on my first hands perspective on them. Into the unknown as it were.
Coaxial Town sounds sooo goofy...
Isn't this one the suspense music when stuff gets revealed to the player?
The setup theme (OG and remake) sounds like underground Mario music
49:27 This is where Bar "LUNA LIGHT" (BUSIN 0: Wizardry Alternative NEO) plagiarized from this particular melody.
4:17 This one too.
Something's wrong with "Setting Up"was one of my favorites on the SNES soundchip... But the chorus parts of this remakes sound offpitch
01:01:08
overture
i've been slowly listening to every track (a few at a time) trying to figure out the name of track they used in the trailers.
I was wondering that when I was putting it together. Some are obvious with the names of characters, but I think some are just because they sound cool. That’s what I would do if I was asked to make music for a giant mech game anyway
@@Woodhouse204 I figured it out. 38:51 Track 27 called "Rage! Rage! Rage!" is the song i remember from the teaser trailer.
for the by in large I prefer the orig (I played the DS port)
I'm genuinely disappointed with Black Hounds and New Enemy Turn, they changed them too much that it's more of a remix than a remaster.
"Hard Drag" is one of my favorite BGMs in Front Mission. The remake version sounds so different. It is not bad per se but, except the lead instruments, it distances too much from the original.
In "Tension" they added too much stuff on which was originally a minimalistic composition. The obnoxious vocal chords take away the feelings of thrill and focus of the original track transforming it in an epic orchestral remix. Feels too unfamiliar for lack of better words.
Good thing you can set the classic soundtrack if the new one doesn't appeal to you.
Destructive Logic got it the worst, IMO. Way too busy.
Overall, not a bad remaster, I guess. Man, Yoko Shimomura and Noriko Matsueda knocked it out of the park back then. It's nice to hear these tunes again.
Face it dude. It's no shining force 1 over world music! 😜
I dunno, this has some good tunes on it. My Favourite is the shop!
One of the only positives with this remake is the soundtrack... except it doesn't loop seamlessly in game?
Live-A-Live got a full orchestra soundtrack and I was hoping this would get live recordings instead of synth versions. This is a big disappointment.
There is a difference in developer and resources between those two games, to be fair. I would imagine there would be a huge difference in budget too
このゲームは自分にとっては不満点が多いゲームでした。ヴァンツァーのデザインやオブジェクトのサイズ比また、戦闘時の上手下手の向きが日本と海外では逆で有りそれに対して違和感が半端無かったです。
They ruined the shop and setting up theme
Original music is way better
Man, they butchered most of this soundtrack. Advance Guard and Elegie sound close to the original and still sound good. Shop sounds neat, and Evils of War isn't too bad for a remake. But the rest sound awful compared to the original. RIP Destructive Logic.
Some of the new versions are great. But yeah, for every win there's a big fat L. Enemy turn got utterly trashed. What'd they do to Mad Pressure? What even is that?
