From where Muhammad (pbuh) got his revelations?
Is the Qur'an truly the literal word of God?
It should not be surprising that a book of God has always contained within it scientific facts that have only came to light in the past century.
In this lecture Bro Shabir Ally tells us some of the Scientific and Mathematical miracles of the Holy Qur'an
Shabir Ally has earned a B.A. in Religious Studies from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario, with a specialization in Biblical Literature, and an M.A. in Religious Studies from the University of Toronto with a specialization in Quranic Exegesis.
He is now in his fourth year of Ph.D studies in Quranic Exegesis at the University of Toronto.
Shabir is the president of the Islamic Information & Dawah Centre International in Toronto where he functions as Imam.
He travels internationally to represent Islam in public lectures and interfaith dialogues.
He explains Islam on a weekly television program called "Let the Quran Speak.

Current quraan is many versions. majority of people are ignorant about this... we have 10 qiraat and they are different narrations and some of them have extra words and extra letters or different grammer but slight differences... These differences should be checked with the numerology patterns to confirm which qiraa is the right one. many people are ignorant and say they are all right. hafs's narration is different from shuba's narration while they both claim that they narrate Asim's version
The qiraat only pertains to the recitation of the Quran and the pronunciation of the passages. The texts themselves are all the same word for word letter for letter.
there are 30 chapters in the Quran and there are 114 Surah in the Quran.
there is difference between chapter and a Surah.
Chapter is the one that contains the Surahs and surah is the one that contain the verses from the Quran.
You mean there are 30 Juz (parts) - one Juz to be read per day of the month of Ramadan - 114 Surahs (chapters) and therein a total of 6236 Ayat (verses).
I hope someone will explain in details about sura of Noah.
+Insight Curiosity. no it is not condradictory my friend....he is mentioned in 28 different chapters but he mentioned more than once in some of those chapters, so the total number of times hes mentioned all together is 43, spread out in 28 different surahs.

I am very much interested in the comparative religion and have read lots of books on the subject and i have read the scriptures of most of the religion of the world and watched most of the videos on dvd .

muslims by choice i am working on decoding the versus and the number of letters and letter counts for a while but the quraan has many versions have oyu heard of the 10 qiraat? some of them have extra words and letters and that would wreck the miracle.... we need to verify each chapter and if everything matches then we will know that qiraa is the right one and the others are tahreef .

as atheist i stand in the centre. I do read quran too. There is verse said I am allah n all messengers musa, jesus n muhammad to worship God. Thats wat i read from the torah, bibke n quran, all messengers of god to worship god, jesus say in the bible john 5:30 for example : Jesus say : MY FATHER IS GREATER THAN I. Simple english.
Did he actually use the BIBLE as a reference as if it is to be used as an example, when we know that the bible of today is one that has been re-written by MAN?????
As atheist , theres no a single statement, direct declaration that Jesus himself say , "I am God, Worship me" in the bible.

actually, many civilizations have invented numeral system. the only difference btwn india and other civilizations is the number 0, which is what the arab borrow from the indians. its worth noting that the discovery of the number 0 by the arab was made after the coming (and death) of Prophet Muhammad PBUH, which makes the numeral system in quran a miracle. before Islam, the arabs were ignorants who couldn't care less about knowledge. Islam changed them to be better people.

Islam makes the most sense, plain and simple. As a medical doctor we are hard pressed to accept things as true unless they are proven. The Quran is proven to anyone with an open heart.

●The Lying Forehead
Allah said in the Quran concerning one of the disbelievers who forbade prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) from praying at the kaaba:
كَلَّا لَئِن لَّمْ يَنتَهِ لَنَسْفَعًۢا بِٱلنَّاصِيَةِ ١٥
But no! If he does not desist, We will certainly drag him by the forelock
نَاصِيَةٍۢ كَـٰذِبَةٍ خَاطِئَةٍۢ ١٦
a lying, sinful forelock.
[Quran 96 15-16]
Why did the Qur’an describe the front of the head as being lying and sinful? Why didn’t the Qur’an say that the person was lying and sinful? What is the relationship between the front of the head and lying and sinfulness?
If we look into the skull at the front of the head, we will find the prefrontal area of the cerebrum. What does physiology tell us about the function of this area?
A book entitled Essentials of Anatomy & Physiology says about this area, “The motivation and the foresight to plan and initiate movements occur in the anterior portion of the frontal lobes, the prefrontal area. This is a region of association cortex…” [1]
Additionally, the book says, “In relation to its involvement in motivation, the prefrontal area is also thought to be the functional center for aggression….” [2]
So, this area of the cerebrum is responsible for planning, motivation, and initiating good and sinful behaviour, and is responsible for telling lies and the truth.
أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ أَمْ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبٍ أَقْفَالُهَآ
Do they not then reflect on the Quran? Or are there locks upon their hearts?
[Quran 47:24]

●Mystery of Ants in Quran
حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَتَوْا۟ عَلَىٰ وَادِ ٱلنَّمْلِ قَالَتْ نَمْلَةٌۭ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّمْلُ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ مَسَـٰكِنَكُمْ لَا يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ سُلَيْمَـٰنُ وَجُنُودُهُۥ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
Until, when they came upon the valley of the ants, an ant said, "O ants, enter your dwellings that you not be crushed by Solomon and his soldiers while they perceive not.
[Quran 27:18]
This verse is from the chapter called 'The Ant' (AL NAML), revealing phenomena unknown in the 7th century.
.1 The verse depicts an ant warning others to avoid being crushed by Solomon's soldiers. The question arises: how could propher Muhammad(peace and blessings be upon him)in the 7th century have known that ants communicate vocally, a fact discovered in 2009 using modern scientific equipment? Some uninformed Christians argue that observing ants 'kissing' hinted at communication. They question how it is miraculous aspect, claiming it was common knowledge. However, while it was common to see ants touching heads and moving in a specific direction, the understanding that ants communicate vocally was absent in the 7th century.
.2 Today we know that ants produce a crushing sound when they come under feet because their bodies contain silica particles, which are the primary constituents of glass. It's intresting to note the precise mention of "crushing" rather than "squashing" in above verse.
أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ أَمْ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبٍ أَقْفَالُهَآ
Do they not then reflect on the Quran? Or are there locks upon their hearts?

● Pain receptors is in skin in Quran
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا سَوْفَ نُصْلِيهِمْ نَارًۭا كُلَّمَا نَضِجَتْ جُلُودُهُم بَدَّلْنَـٰهُمْ جُلُودًا غَيْرَهَا لِيَذُوقُوا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًۭا
Surely those who reject Our signs, We will cast them into the Fire. Whenever their skin is burnt completely, We will replace it, that they may taste the punishment. Indeed, Allah is Almighty, All-Wise.
[Quran 4:56]
Pain receptors in skin
This verse indicates that there is something in the skin which makes us feel pain. This is exactly what modern science tells us i.e. pain receptors are responsible for feeling pain. It was thought that the sense of feeling and pain was dependent only on the brain. Recent discoveries however prove that there are pain receptors present in the skin, without which a person would not be able to feel pain. When a doctor examines a patient suffering from burn injuries, he verifies the degree of burns by a pinprick. If the patient feels pain, the doctor is happy, because it indicates that the burns are superficial and the pain receptors are intact. On the other hand, if the patient does not feel any pain, it indicates that it is a deep burn and the pain receptors have been destroyed.
Prof. Tegatat Tejasen, Chairman of the Department of Anatomy at Chiang Mai University in Thailand, has spent a great amount of time on research of pain receptors. Initially he could not believe that the Qur'an mentioned this scientific fact 1,400 years ago. He later verified the translation of this particular Qur'anic verse. Prof. Tegatat Tejasen was so impressed by the scientific accuracy of the Quranic verse, that at the 8th Saudi Medical Conference held in Riyadh on the Scientific Signs of Qur'an and Sunnah, he proudly proclaimed in public: "There is no God but Allah and Muhammad (Peace Be upon Him) is His Messenger."
Its impossible to realize the correct beauty after translating into English but still read it again :

the christian always said jesus is son of god(literaly) becoz they want to make the death of jesus as their salvation. to understand God it self we can't understand with human view.....we can reason with it but can't fully understand God on itself but christian taking this point to make jesus... human as God which that can't be correct ....but saying that saying we can't understang with human view in term of jesus as God able to blind most people.

in fact you try to describe God as you like. Didn't you know, that the idea of a human-god is a heritage from the pagan cultures? You need to study the history of your religion before coming and postulating Muslims would see God as they like.
