Hyatt Regency Downtown Atlanta Tour

- Welcome to Downtown Atlanta. Today we're touring the Hyatt Regency, Which is a beautiful Atrium that was built in 1967.
You might recognize it, it's been in over 60 films including The Hunger Games. Let's check it out!
The aesthetic of the way this building was built is so cool! I could literally stand there and watch the elevator all day.
They had some really cool art on the walls, this is one of my favorites. It's a bunch of records and you see me pointing that is one of my favorite 70's bands.
Let's head up to the room shall we?
The room was nice and clean, it had a nice similar decor, I definitely liked the feel of this hotel. The view was super cool because it's city views and your looking at the city from pretty up high!
Let's have a quick peek in the restroom. I loved that they had a bunch of towels and toiletries.

Call me weird but I actually enjoyed riding this elevator, it's so cool because its clear and you get to watch everything going down.
So there was a couple restaurants in the hotel, we didn't get to check them out. Unfortunately the restaurant that sits at the very top was closed due to covid.
The gym was open, take a quick look. Open 24 hours that's always nice.
There were a couple floors that were convention floors. Looks like an awesome place to go top a convention! How cool you get to go to the convention and have your room in the same place.
Poor Sam broke her foot so this video was made from a wheel chair.
They did also have a pool but the weather was cold so we didn't get to check that out either.

Me and my sister stayed there for the Jlo concert it was amazing the views and vibe was litttty 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥and the ppl was extremely friendly the hotel is so beautiful and the elevator is incredible to ride

It’s like nice, so spacious. Love the speed walking through it in this video. The fitness center is big! Great video!
I DID stay here, and it was BEAUTIFUL!! One of the most awesome hotels I have ever stayed in, and I got to eat in the Polaris revolving Restaurant up top and the views were amazing. I hope to return .... it would be awesome to, and I know I would have another fantastic experience.

My school toured this building when it first opened in 1967. Of course it was only one tower then instead of the three today. This is the building that got Atlanta noticed. Glad to see they are keeping it up.

I don’t know why they removed Portman’s original floor tiles. Once there was a lobby bar with a hanging canopy.
Do they have refrigerator and microwave in rooms?
I prefer the Marriott Marquis but this Hyatt Regency is a close second.

This place tbh. Much cleaner and a little cheaper than the Marriott Marquis
In terms of design, Marriot Marquis. But Hyatt Regency is really cool, and the Marquis kind of gets in the way of the beauty.
