Excellent. I've struggled for two days with another graphics program and a few lame tutorials. But with your video and Snappa, I created a beautiful piece of banner art in less than 20 minutes. I'm confident now if I want (or need) to tweak it, I can do it without totally messing up what I created. You're the only channel I'll use now for tutorials. I'm subscribed!

Thanks for the Snappa referral! My banner was old and needed replacing. I was scared of how to do a banner though but the template sizing on Snappa really helped! The difficult part was deciding whether to use a photo for background or do what you did. I tried your way but I just couldn't be satisfied with it. So I grabbed a great photo of a famous board game and used that but blurred it so it has a cool effect. Then I did some research into complimentary and analogical colours (or whatever it's called) and customized the rest of the banner from there with other logos, text, a patreon call to action and my catchphrase. I was quite impressed that I was able to replicate my logo really well as it looks near identical to the official one a studio did for me!

For phone users: click ur channel icon, and on the top right it has a camera, click the camera and then browse through photos, and click a photo.
I suggest you to search up yt banner and u for sure will find one that fits you

The thumbnail maker has changed, the button at the top doesn't show up (the one that shows the dimensions of the banner so you can make it better)
I tried making A channel Art But i can only use a Drawing And picture them and this is a worth Wacthing Ty for this tutrorial and this is veryuseful B cuz i use mac

Even though we are in the same niche, whatever idea that comes in my mind to make a video on, somehow you always seem to have a video on, and it shows up when I am trying to do my research part of it and this is one of the videos. I love how you are passionate about your channel and that you are always in the move to bring new videos very often. The reason I stopped by to comment today is that I just wanted to say how your thumbnails have recently kept the same theme and as soon as one searches for things up on youtube, it seems obvious for one to guess almost immediately that it's your video just by seeing the blue, grey and black colors that you use even on the ones you don't have your pic on. Even though I joined CZcams back in 2016, it actually took me till now to make a CZcams Banner on my channel. The channel name art, my icons are all made using Paint. You can have a look if you want to. It looks better regardless of what mode. This tutorial is really helpful. Thanks.

Thanks for this. I made the decision to finally start having a bit of fun putting together years worth of my randomness in the automotive world, and wanted to spend a bit of time making something. Snappa was easy and straight forward. Also helped with creating a watermark as well. Your videos helped a great deal. Now to just spend time actually editing videos instead of dumping them on my original "A C" YT channel, and considering what equipment is needed. lol Thanks again.

Nice tutorial; but it's pointless to create any content outside the safe zone (area), since most views will be on smartphones with todays consumer behavior. Everything else will be off screen. I suggest to make a photoshop frame 1546x423 for your content and then copy/paste into the center of maximum frame 2560 x1440 with a solid our textured background to fill up the space.

How did you start typing your channel name, I tried clicking on mine and it didn't work, what do I hit?

There is no template assistance on CZcams. It sends you to Customization, then Branding, and from there you get the same frustrating screen that does not allow you to resize or reposition your artwork at all. The specs are 2560 x 1440 pixels but that is not what you actually see on a CZcams channel banner -- the top to bottom dimension is less, it is more like a square format. I have been working on this for hours and am totally frustrated. Snapa was not helpful.

Hi when I click on "Customize channel", and click on "Add Channel Art" I get a big white box with a smaller black box which says "In order to select an item from your online storage, please sign in" and when I click "Sign In" it loads a Chrome window and it closes and nothing changes and when I click "Sign In" again it says "There was an error!" and "Details: The feature you requested is currently unavailable. Please try again later." and again nothing changes. Have you run across this problem?
Click the three dots/lines button in the top right hand side of the screen and select 'settings'. Click 'Advanced' and under 'Privacy and Security' click 'Content Settings'. Under 'Cookies' uncheck 'Block third party cookies'. Refresh the screen and you show now be able to change your CZcams channel art.
What I did was open youtube in Google Chrome rather than Safari and it worked.

It's just a simple Slide transition effect, I think filmora has one, if not you can animate the start of one shot to slide in over the end of another to achieve the same thing
