He's been compared to MJ for over 10 years now and it started with his first 3 mixtapes, House of Balloons, Thursday and Echoes of Silence(2011) all 3 released in the same year.
On The Echoes of Silence mixtape the very first song he covered is Dirty Diana with The Weeknd spin on it. Same lyrics tho.
The Weeknd’s old shi like house of balloons is good too it has more of a dark feeling n if u like his pop side more than u should listen to Starboy
