  • This is an overview of how to make the command form in German. I teach how to form commands with du, ihr, Sie, and wir in German. I also talk about some odd things that happen with the grammar with them. I give examples and some practice at the end.

    I think that is the best German usage I have seen in any of the comments on any of the videos on my channel. It is definitely the most productive comment I have ever received. Well done.

    Thanks so much for this most excellent lesson, Herr Antrim!
    I have one question related to one of the sentences. To my ear it seems you say "Ihren" (with the final "n") in the sentence: "Rufen Sie Ihre Eltern an!" Should that be then "Ihren" or "Ihre"? Thanks again!

    • @LeviAntrim
      @LeviAntrim Před 10 lety +1

      It should be Ihre. I think I stuttered a bit there.

      Thanks a lot, Herr Antrim! Wanted to let you know, I used examples in this video in an "Imperatives" level (#29) within a Memrise course I'm building while I learn. I'm sharing that course publicly for free, a few people have joined already. On that level's name I mentioned you as credit :) as well as in the course description, among the main free resources I've used. Here's the course:
