If I had a nickel for every time that Gildun exclusively appeared in a Horizon DLC, I would have two nickels, which isn't alot, but it's weird it happened twice. đ

And yet again, I can't even say how amazed by what we got for the burning shores dlc, especially the light that attacked Aloy. This dlc feels like a separate game, not an expansion.
Right?! And for only $20! This is going to be GOOD
When I first watched this, and saw Aloy holding the Far Zentith weapon my mind nearly exploded. I am so freakin exited for this!

Hereâs what I think the shot of the statue represents. The volcano is what represents the archipelago, the woman with the gun is Aloy standing victoriously, the raptor is the Horus, the sniper is the far zenith weapon Aloy uses to take down the Horus.

All i care about is Aloy got her own Far Zenith tech and i will die if Specters does come back in some shape or form in the DLC

Maybe weâll see ânewâ Hephaestus-made machines with specter-like tech and features
So the moment Aloy and the new character say "him" my mind went straight to Hepheastus because honestly he'll be needed in the next game. Some people have mentioned Vast Silver and I hadn't considered that at all. In hindsight I think Vast Silver will be an ally, not just against Hepheastus but against Nemesis in the final game (unless they somehow spin off more games).
Same⊠it seems as if Seyka is referring to someone or something that Aloy already knows, which leads me to believe it may not be Vast Silver after all. I absolutely agree with the fact that Vast Silver would be an amazing ally to have against Nemesis; especially if it can control the remaining Faro Swarm on earth đł
That would be so symbolic and opposite of what Hephaestus did in Frozen Wilds. In Frozen Wilds Hephaestus forced the AI, CYAN to work for it. From the lore CYAN is the âlittle siblingâ to VAST SILVER. If VS is in LA maybe in Burning Shores Heph and VS will work together to try to eliminate humans.

I can't believe how gorgeous it looks, I'm so excited to see the relationship between Aloy/Seyka, and also so excited to see Gildun again! It's interesting there's no new teasers shown for new machines, outside of the Waterwing, but if anything it just makes me even more excited to explore and see what else is new, there has to be more new machines, right?
I doubt the Sunwing will be locked out for the DLC, it showed her crash landing off of it, but then a later shot did show her flying with Seyka on one and also flying across the water with one, so I imagine it will be a choice - we'll find both Sunwing and Waterwing sites around the DLC.
I'm also really excited to see what the new skills or even skill tree is going to be, what small amount we've seen already with the pullcaster criticals looks dope, it makes me look forward to finally doing my UH NG+, hopefully carrying over all these new interesting skills and weapons with me.
Also, the music in this trailer was GORGEOUS. I'm never usually much for the soundtracks, but Horizon is one of those rare few where the music means just as much to me as the game.
It is stunning! I keep saying itâs crazy that the gameplay and cutscenes in this trailer are indiscernible from each other!
I definitely see some love blossoming between the two. Hopefully Gildun didnât get into too much trouble this time around.
I definitely think weâll get 3-5 brand new machines with a handful of new variants for existing machines.
Iâm thinking the far zenith weapon might be part of a new valor surge⊠hard to see it being a weapon weâll just be carrying around all the time. Unless the ammo is crazy expensiveâŠ

@@unknown_2552 It's possible that the Zenith weapon is part of a new Valor Surge, I didn't think of that! Or perhaps, (like the ending of ZD), a weapon we get to use in a specific mission / for the Horus fight only, and not something that is actually unlocked for generic use, like Petra's guns were in the battle of Meridian.

I think the Zenith Weapon Aloy is using could be a valor surge this time and not for equipping it to the weapon wheel like the special weapons we got in the frozen wilds. The animation and the way the is holding it just reminds me at a surge animation. If it is a surge trough I wonder if there is more then one Zenith based Valor Surge?

I share the same thoughts as you regarding it possibly being a valor surge. The only way it could be a âregularâ-style weapon is if the ammo is ridiculously expensive to craft.
What other kind of Far Zenith valor surge would you want? Specter Prime?? đ
Specter Prime would be really cool! I just thought of different ammo types like the ones Eric used agains Aloy, like one ammo type equals one surge. But if we get specter prime đ±. I would be so hyped

The horus bossfight was absolutely insane.
I had no words during the fight since i couldnt believe this was actually happening.
The entire dlc is worth for the final boss alone
Even with the Zenith arm-cannon, Aloy facing off with the Horus is kind of reminiscent of the end of âSaving Private Ryan,â plinking away at a tank with a sidearm. Iâd kinda thought maybe sheâd find one of those dual-railgun tanks still partially functional (though perhaps immobilized) and have to use that to pick it apart while one-shotting Scarabs and Khopeshes it would continuously disgorge.
Those railgun tanks didnât do very well against the swarm before though! đ€Ł
At least the zenith tech is something new to try lol
@@unknown_2552 Oh, they did well enough, there were just too damned many of them. Think ZD had an audio log where a lieutenant in that mechanized battalion describes what it takes to kill a Horus - take off the tentacles, then blast out the foundries. Theyâre recorded as having scored multiple Horus kills, but the swarm just kept coming. Here, thankfully, weâre only dealing with one.
Iâll be interested to see how it goes down.

I feel Hephaestus and VAST SILVER are in the Burning Shores. There have been hints from the datapoint in Legacyâs Landfall which is near the Quenâs base to the recent launch trailer. From the launch trailer, Aloy says âThe enemy has headed south to the Burning Shoresâ, and from a blog post to start the dlc Sylens calls Aloy. I think Sylens will call Aloy to tell her he got a signal from Heph at the Burning Shores and she will travel there to see what itâs planning and possibly try to catch it. Then, the new Quen character Seyka says, âWhat could he possibly want from us?â which implies that a different enemy is encountered who is possibly a human male or at least presents as one. They probably contact and threaten the Quen at Fleetâs End as a hologram of a human male who could just be VS assuming a human male identity.
The clip where aloy and sekka (god, I hope I didn't massacre her name). Ride the sunwing. You can see aloy with a BIIIG smile I've never seen her with a smile like that.
Itâs spelled Seyka according to Guerrilla, and Iâm not even sure if IâM pronouncing it right đ€Ł
But I noticed that too! Never once has she smiled that big and brightly before⊠I think our theory may come to fruition đ€

I hope that this Zenit's weapon wont be boss-fight-use-only. And that missles at the beginig that shoots Aloy down, might be what Gurilla meant by 'Lightning in the sky'đ€

I agree if the Zenith weapon is story only would be a shame. Hopefully that's not the case and if it's balanced through it being a Valor Surge, I'm okay with that.

The horus look different from what we have in the base game, like the six small claws on the face are under the orb in the base game and in trailer they are on the side and they are also different, the four massive legs could possibly look different, the drillers at the end of the tentacles are different too(you can check this in the first trailer for the dlc), and in the base game on the longer tentacles at mid tentacle there are bigger drillers with star like shape but here are missing. Guerrilla could possibly have redesigned it a bit, or its another version of the horus, we just need to wait until April 19 to find out.

I think they probably just redesigned it. Itâs been over 5 years since they originally designed it; now that itâs actually an animated model, they couldâve reworked it to make it perfect

Makes you wonder what they have in store for Horizon 3 if a Horus boss battle is already a thing in Horizon 2 DLC.

I'm still of the opinion that Vast Silver is the antagonist for this DLC, technologically advanced and able to take over the huge machine? Who else could do that? I think we'll discover that VS also was responsible for the original glitch that started the Faro Plague. Can't wait to fight the big one!

I only say this because you can see a dinosaur statue on the bottom right of her. As well as holograms of Pterodactyls and a Trex in the background. A revamped Jurassic park experience

I wouldn't be surprised if they have lots of references to movies without explicitly calling them by name, and being just different enough to not infringe. I think we might see Vast Silver but not as the enemy. Nemesis is already the big bad AI enemy that started everything. I think Vast Silver will end up being the good AI. Which would be largely ironic as Humans perceived Vast Silver as bad only for Humans to become the big bad AI Nemesis.
I think if it IS Vast Silver, itâll be somewhat of an Anti-hero, and weâll find common ground to form an alliance to help fight against Nemesis in the third game

I feel like story wise, the main baddie shouldnât be Hephaestus again because that would be too redundant (from the Frozen Wilds, to Forbidden West, and now Burning Shores) so I definitely would like to see a Far Zenith enemy this time but then again it would make sense considering that Hephaestus now has access to Far Zenith tech đ€Ł

I'm really hoping the zenith nano tech weaponry shields etc doesn't become aloys staple kit. Also i'm kinda wondering if that statue or holo of the hot sniper chick isn't some kind of worshipping symbol to the new tribe we're meeting in the bs like jtf-10 was to the tenakth or maybe someone important to the quens legacy.

God at least if that tech wasn't so gaudy, i mean white and gold is like a thorn in the eye while traversing horizons world. But yeah from a lore and logical stand point we definitely need all the tech unless nemesis is like the faro plague and takes over or shuts down everything tech related, kinda have the feeling that's the case since fz got yeeted off of sirius in a heartbeat
