"My sorrowful wife" in that version... WHAT? How great was that? I still can't beliefe it, having listened maybe 20 time now.
Absolutely! I was there and this version, the 23rd song he'd played and the 4th in the encore was devastating and, IMHO, unsurpassed in his recordings of it. If anyone knows of a comparable version, I'd love to know it. You can hear his take on it from the previous show someone posted. It doesn't really come off. Then, this performance: pitch perfect.
Saw the show in Milwaukee WI 4 days after this, It was quite a peak experience!

My wife and I saw Nick and the upstart bass player in Cleveland on the 27th. Great show. Maybe Radiohead will finally get some exposure.
