@@whatshereads1 well I know this is extremely late but I started mine when about a year and a half ago, September of this year would make 2 years and my mom did the coil thingy and then overtime they became dreads, my dreads took like 4-6 months to completely lock up because my hair is more on the finer side (my hair type is 4b). When my locs were longer before I cut it into a Bob I loved using chopsticks in my hair.. I love this style!
