When Lindsay was gone, one day I saw in prayer I saw her
in the spirit realm. I saw what looked like a concentration camp.
I saw this big, long, windowless cement building,.
It was in a desert with nothing around it.
There was only one door for the building with a guard
stationed there, an evil demonic gigantic spirit that looked
like the orcs in Lord of the Rings.
I knew Lindsay was in that concentration camp.
I knew she was being held captive in that room.
Day after day, after week, after month when I was warring
in intercession for Lindsay I would look up and see that door.
In the spirit I would walk toward that thing knowing I'm
an ambassador of God, I have the word from God, so
I would just walk up, look at that spirit and I would
say, "The Lord says the captive of the warrior will be released,
the plunder the tyrant will be retrieved. I will fight those that fight you
and I'll save your children." (Isaiah 49:25)
One day I was praying like that and I walked
up to that thing, quoted that scripture, and to my utter amazement,
the door opened and Lindsay walked out. When she walked out
she didn't see me; she was just staring straight ahead.
I was just overwhelmed emotionally, crying at the sight of her.
Walking out behind her was a large crowd of young people.
Some of them were playing instruments.
It was like they were doing what they were called to do.
Karen's book, "Watching the Road: Praying Your Prodigal Home," tells the story of the return of her daughter Lindsey from a place of spiritual despair. Are you desperate for the return of your prodigal son or daughter? Have you lost hope that your prodigal husband or wife will ever return home?
Don't give up! Things don't have to stay the way they are! Your prayers have the power to change things....even the hardest of hearts! Watching from her porch with eyes of faith and a heart of hope, Karen cried out to God for Lindsey's return. In miraculous ways, God daily reaffirmed the promises He gave personally to Karen that Lindsey would be restored to her marriage and family.

This book will bless and encourage any parent who is waiting for your prodigal to come home. Especially if it looks humanly impossible for that to happen. I love how this book encourages and gives hope when it is all but lost. Karen shares her heart and her struggles with the same things you go through when your child walks away from you and everything you ever taught them about God. But she also shares how God met her in each of those hard times and bolstered her faith to continue to believe when it looked impossible. She shares scriptures He gave her and all the insights He gave her as well. Highly recommend this book.
I was a prodigal for 10 years. I walked away from my God and my family for that whole lifestyle of money and drugs. My precious mother diligently prayed for my soul, for ten years. She never stopped. She never gave up. I went into county jail three times. Homeless. Many false starts, much heartache, losing my kids, she raised my kids for 6 years! But by the grace of God my eyes were opened and I've been walking in the light clean off of drugs for almost 9 years. Now, my husband is a prodigal and God is calling ME to stand in the gap for the father of my children and my best friend. What a calling oh my soul rejoices that it is called to do such a thing! Sorry about that - it was a glitch with our camera. I was in the meeting and seem to remember that it had to do with passing the mantle - as in, there is a call of God on Lindsey - Lindsey's sister took it to mean that she was running but she would come back - God has the final answer.

Karen has a book..About this miracle of deliverance. Heard a missionary testify that God asked her- a missionary to the Congo- if she could be thankful that He trusted her with the suffering and abuse she was about to suffer.
