You have to be careful while putting contact plate. There is a leg on switch. You have to check that leg, according accordingly you have to put the flat contact plates.

My driver side power window is not working,they told me that I have replace the two switches together but my left side power window is working and the right side switch has auto written on it it seems to be loose could it have broken is there a remedy.please let me know.I will be greatful if you reply.

Good work sir i have problem the switch work fine but the passenger side plug going to window moto i dont get the - ground i test all the cables are fine
The ground of pasenger side motor is from main switch.. they are two wire and they are connected in two normally closed switch.. if this two wire have no ground so maybe their is problem on control switch in the main switch.. control switch is the switch that is used so that pasenger cannot operate power window.. and usually it is ground control.. ants is one of the primary caused of the that..
Next time bro. If i have time i will make a video on basic principle of power window wiring. I' m not good in explaining but i will do my best for you.

Sir maybe you turn off the cut off switch on the driver main switch. Try to check.
