I love this song it is the first 100% Diana song, she wrote composed sang and she even plays the ukulele her self, at first she did not want to publish it but when her grandmother heard it she cried and asked from Diana to publish it so she did and we got this wonderful piece of art.
The song it self is about her story, a popular interpretation is this: if you see the lyrics she first talks about what she felt looking at her mothers eyes when they first met, then we see what was in her own eyes and at the end she says that dreams can absolutely come true so everyone should strive to achieve them.
This is not the only interpretation of course since Diana herself said that she wrote this in a way that people can relate their own stories through it.
Polyphonic is a Greek word it is a synthetic word (poly) which means many (phoni) which means voice so it means many voices, very few people can achieve this state while singing .

О чём эта песня? Если коротко - о личном счастье. О том, что оно желанно - и труднодостижимо. В данном конкретном случае препятствие - это "серый опыт", большинству из нас понятный. Но этот "серый опыт" детства - не единственное и не главное препятствие для большого личного счастья. Есть кое-что поважнее: семья и талант. Любой человек извне, пытающийся установить тесные личные отношения с нашей героиней - будет устанавливать их, в том числе, и с её семьёй. То, что нам известно об этой семье из многочисленных роликов и интервью - сильно впечатляет. Подобная семья в наше время - большая редкость - и большая ценность. Такие тесные, доверительные, открытые отношения, такая связанность одним очень важным, очень большим общим делом, такая взамозависимость и сплочённость - это ценность, которую ничем не заменить и ничем не компенсировать. Представить себе, что найдётся некий идеальный человек, который сумеет гармонично встроиться в эти отношения и ничем их не нарушить - довольно трудно. А ещё перед нами личность с огромным творческим даром, с сильным характером, умеющая ставить большие цели - и добиваться их, одновременно и гибкая - и упорная, сложно устроенная, полная контрастов и парадоксов. i use this song as a tool in my practice particularly for PTSD,anxiety and particular kinds of depression. She did the uke at the end. The lyrics with the eyes and looking into them allows the viewer to bond with another person. I wholeheartedly disagree with the wilndigow and whatever. Those that have been in abusive relationships know the wild Wolfe inside and know the path to walk to healing.
