    One more solution for furnace and tiles problems: Make different groups of sizes of tiles and sell these segregated tiles in different packaging for each size.

    still there is another problem
    with the change in composition there might be chance of change in quality of the tiles
    if one or the other materials percentage may effect time it takes to process or make tiles more brittle
