Pro Tip: when you take a Red ring that look like he was made with blood, and he start To Shine, Chuck it inmediataly. The effects were seen in the video.

I LOVED how it sounded. It didn't sound like a .exe game
The characters in this game almost remind me of the Sonic Adventure personalities. But this game is great. Just having this little chapter before the entire storm that's to come is really a breath of fresh air. The game has it's problems but those are so minor that they can be easily overlooked. Except for the bossfight. I like that there were two phases to Metal Sonic but these two always had him stand in one side of the screen which made the entire screen seem kinda empty. Multiple attacks to one phase might solve that problem.
Some small mistakes would be enemy placements since they kinda stand in the way of going fast. I know that there should be obstacles that should make you stop in your tracks but I'm not sure if one should be punished for going fast. Earlier Sonic games also suffered from this problem, like Sonic 2. Also this might actually be more of a stylistic choice but the levels seem very stretched with having some sections be just Sonic running forward for a few seconds with nothing else. I actually think this mght be a stylistic choice to show how fast Sonic is speeding through those stages to give the feeling of a real Sonic game. Similarly to how the Green Hill Zone actually played like a real Sonic level.
Obviously there was a lot of love put into the game. I'm also interested in the story so I look forward to how this story ends

I don't know why I want to defend Knuckles. He's just one guy and he has to do things such as eat, sleep, and go to the bathroom eventually. I've been thinking about the one Sonic.exe game where Eggman infected Sonic character clones with a virus that turned them evil. It would be nice if Knuckles had a clone of himself or someone else or something to help make guarding the emerald a lot easier.
