Every time Latrice said Iâm a strong woman & heâs just protective I cringed. Not in a judgemental way but in more of an empathetic way because she is clearly conditioned to believe this is what strength looks like & that he is protective when he is actually who she needs protection from.
I completely agree with you. I feel like Josh is there b/c of how Cliff is in case she needs help or a witness. He didnât have no problem showing his a$$ on camera so, I know he something else at home. Heâs controlling af and I need her to learn the difference.

Iâve been that friend before & it is best for him to have strict boundaries with Latrice or find another job & distance himself. Star said that she didn't tell JJ because she was kind of scared and he isn't easy to talk to. Dee even said that the girls find it hard to talk to JJ because he is controlling and wants everything to be perfect. With that being said, there was no reason for JJ to even get in those confessionals and even try to blame for Selena for not telling him Star's business, which she probably didn't even want the man to know about and is exactly why she didn't tell him. Hell, I wouldn't even tell him if he up here acting the way he is for no reason at all.

Cliff and Latrice situation is only gonna get worse
I feel like the issues between SoGucci and Selena have been there for a long time, but theyâve just swept it under the rug for all these years. But since they are on a reality show now, ESPECIALLY a Carlos King show, they have no choice but to address these issues that have been festering all these years. And you know Carlos is going to put his sauce on it and add fuel to the fire because it causes drama and makes good tv. When youâre on a Carlos King show, all your issues and problems no matter how big or small get put under a microscope and reality tv is a pressure cooker till everything explodes.
Think Problems still exist with Selena & So Gucci because of her husband JJ, he is in the middle of the mess

Getting a divorce is easier said than done for some people. Itâs obvious sheâs in love with her husband. She already separated herself from him. Sheâs going to divorce him when SHEâS ready.

Latrice is being abused. End of discussion. Josh has seen it and heard it and is now afraid.
IMO, Latrice has a lot of issues. First is her daddy issues, she needs therapy. Second, she likes to look rich and she gets to have that with him. Third, this is an older man who reportedly has had money most of his life, she was young and inexperienced. There is no way that man has poured his money out to help her get her own business and his name is NOT on everything. She leaves him she leaves broke. Also, Latrice may have realized that using Gucci for real estate would allow her to be privy to her financial info, which may be why she didn't close the real estate deal with her.
She may leave broke. Tina Turner did too, but God may be a way, and he may one for her as well.
Latrice said that her husband did not help her build her business she built her business on her own so clearly has no right to Latrice business she can get up and leave and going about her business and she will still have it

That is true, never thought about that perspective. I know I have a friend thats in real estate, but I didn't want him to be my agent for that reason and didnt want the house buying process to go wrg and we fall out. I think he felt some kind of way, but still glad we didnt go there & we're still good friends

I'm seeing so many of these perspectives on Latrice and it's so frustrating. Has anyone not connected the trauma she has around loss of men in her life? To me, it's clear that she's afraid to lose Cliff because she lost her father, her brother due to violence, and then her older brother who had to be a father figure, she lost him to the system for years. She's clinging for dear life, not to suffer another loss. She needs healing. These issues are so complex. Trauma does not follow standard logic.

I want Latrice to run! Run far away and never return because they way Cliff pulled up and cursed her out like sheâs not a grown lady, say more than enough for the viewer. And Iâm wondering if thatâs why she so sassy with other because she canât give it to who she wants to, I.e. Cliff, because she wants to be âsubmissiveâ to his old ass. Heâs sucking the life out of her by being miserable and controlling and if thatâs why she needed to marry somebody in her generation. Cliff holds on to outdated values, donât nobody have time for that.
In addition, please look up the development of the brain and how it's transformed by trauma, particularly the pre-frontal cortex (the center for decision making, etc.) The NIH has a good article. Just sharing because our community needs to grow. Trauma is so misunderstood. We can help heal our communities with a little more understanding.
Cliff & LaTrice is a huge disappointment. And he got the right one. I can't speak for others but for me "we'll be 2 fighting muthaf's in here this evening." (S/O Della Reese in Harlem Nights) She needs to retreat before it gets more dangerous or she snaps. And for Joshy's SANITY & SAFETY he may need to be that distant friend that is a listening ear because I feel like Cliff could harm Joshy too. I just don't trust Cliff's old raggedy azz. I wonder what the Belle's reactions are as to what she's going through. TAMBRA...no ma'am. She needs to stop playing like she's with "Greedy"/Demond. Normally when folk are together, they have some form of spark between him. I don't even remember when he's said "ooh girl you look good" or she compliment him in any sort of way. I just know they were high school sweethearts.
SoGucci, I like her but she needs to chill. And I never see JJ as someone that is unreasonable to the point when she can't say Daddy, I'm preggers & Effram asked to marry me. Especially since the twins are over 21.
I think JJ loves SoGucci so the cattiness with Selena is unnecessary.
