How does a guy who's 6'9 with a 7'2 wingspan and a 9'2 standing reach only block 8 shots in 33 games..?? Against below-the-rim European players no less. That's a huge red flag in itself. Between that and his horrible awareness on the defensive end, kid is just not a good defender imo. Likely never will be.
I see the vision pairing a guy like this with talent like lamelo will bring out the best of him. He seems like a player that knows where to be, on boards and as a lob threat, and if he can develop to an even bigger role for the hornets that would be amazing

Tidjane Salaun needs time to develop and go to a place like Utah, San Antonio, OKC or Miami that have great structure in developing players. Patience is a virtue. Salaun is better at power forward I feel.
