Great video Matt! It was fun flying with you! Let’s fly again soon as that seems like so long ago now!
Was that your Citation? So cool..
I guess I have to admit to being an armchair aviation nut when I start to recognize some of the same ATC controllers voices from other peoples flying videos, in the same general area of operations.
Haha, sounds like some controllers from AFP95s real flight vids.
Shark YT AFP95 flies in florida and this is in california
All atc controllers literally sound the exact same
Except that guy who speaks androgynous
😂😂😂🤣🤣🗣️🙉🤭🗣️
You took BOTH the cookies!?
Most dramatic moment of this journey...
lol, I'm telling you, he's a massive snack monster!
All of that refined cane sugar and corn syrup will make you fat, will cause metabolic syndrome and insulin resistance, will provoke cardiac arterial lesions, will give you E.D., will feed your cancer, and will restrict brain blood flow. They always do.
@@GalenCurrah yes, eating just two cookies will definitely do that all at once.
Kevin Fritz. He was lucky there weren’t 3 cookies. He would have dropped dead on the spot.
Fab flights (nice looking lunch!) and an amazing stable approach and landing in the Citation Mustang Matt! Those jet guys have nothing on us GA pilots!
Hey Matt! Great video as always! I’ve been watching your videos for quite some time and I’ve enjoyed watching your channel grow! Your video on protecting GA airports was first rate! I’m getting back into flying and just setup my own channel to document the process. It’s amazing to see regular pilots like you, Niko, SteveO, Trent, JP, etc. have such a following! I hope I can help inspire someone someday too! Keep it up and thank you!!
The Bonanza is out of fuel and we will be plunging into the ocean shortly but I would just like to say how comfortable this clothing is....
Too bad it's gonna rip and shred :(
Great videos Matt. You remain calm and confident and your experience shows. You manage the distractions very well when it gets busy.
The clapping😂😂
That was after the praying, thats why it was so quiet in back just before. HA
It's not because they're ignorant like other passengers. It was because it was his first time landing a jet and it was really smooth.
@@blewyd why is clapping ignorant tho?
Clapping is standard on LOT polish airlines. Its. Way of thanking the pilots for safe flight
Clapping after a flight is like clapping in the bakery after the Baker has baked a bread.
But here it's something else because it's his first landing in a jet
Nice lunch! Thanks for letting us join you.
Great video Matt you were at two of my favorite airports both with in 45 minutes from my house. Often go to Santa Paula’s open house which is
Every first Sunday of the month. To bad I didn’t have a chance to say hello to you at Camarillo. Safe travels.
Great video capturing the different worlds of flying. The jet is like the ultimate in performance and comfort but the Bonanza takes us back to a slower pace and a more casual and sensory experience.
I’m impressed how your flying skills adapted to the jet, you stayed on top of it!
Nice landing in that jet Matt!
When you mentioned the Mustang at first l thought P51!Hey!
Great job there mate 😎👍
Nice ride, thanks!
Loved your "jet voice."
Another excellent video Matt and you nailed that landing in the Mustang. Keep them coming.....
Well done, on both the jet flight and the clip 🤠
Just amazing ! Thanks for sharing videos. A huge motivation for those who are starting this amazing life of aviation
Lived for a number of years in Camarillo and also love the airport cafe.
Great job....keep living your dreams...God bless you abundantly!
Very nice video. Jet time too, wow!!!
Just subscribed, really enjoying your style of videos. Very informative but not boring! Great camera angles and the view from the citation was breathtaking! Keep up the good work!
Amazing video, great landings!
Looked super smooth mate! Well done
Camarillo my hometown that’s awesome!!! Huge fan of your channel so hopefully you continue to make them!
Your videos are always a treat for the ears as well as the eyes. Wonderful capture of the ambient jet sounds in the cockpit.
Great job on your first jet landing! You seemed to pick up flying the Mustang fairly easily. I think it is all your hours in the Bonanza that made the transition a little easier. It also helps to have flown around the world in the Bonanza. I was not aware of that accomplishment so belated Congrats for such a tremendous achievement! Nicely done flying both aircraft!
Great video, as always
Hell yeah Matt! Super job with the Mustang!
Enjoyed it, thanks!
Another great video! Thank you and please keep them coming.
Oh,, how i love matt
I was in TEARS watching this. Watching your first JET aircraft landing. You have experience up your whazoo right now. (The DC-3's, the multitude of private aircraft.) BUT this is something that comes ONCE in a life time. And you did it with the calm assurance of someone who really KNOWS HIS STUFF. Thanks for letting us in on this!
I’m so jealous, I’m about to get my commercial rating and I’d LOVE to fly a jet like this.
Multi engine and a type rating
Smooth landing, like a pro.
Well done, Matt! Smooth as silk
Solid! congrats Matt!
Very nice, did my C-172 conversion at KHWD. Nice to see it from the jet perspective.
oh man, ACI Jet has a spectacular snack bar! I LOVE flying in there - unlimited red bulls.
Great place for sure! I used to love flying in there. FYI, 3,000ft runway separation is required between two small a/c :)
Damn that was so cool! Nice job with the Jet :-D
Nicely done :)
Citation,,,,....Super Nice Matt!
Gorgeous landing. My first and only solo (been YEARS now) were pretty good. I want to get back to flying, but things get in the way.
Hey Matt just a curiosity.. I have noticed on many of your( awesome) videos that you lower the gear quite early during descent.
Is that a standard procedure for the Bonanza or you were trying a steeper than usual approach?
BTW well done on your first Jet landing.
Favorite video yet. I grew up flying all around CMA & SZP
Great vid... as always. That little green hangar at the end RW 22 @ Santa Paula has some cool history (as does the rest of the airport). Steve McQueen used to live there and just work on cars and planes all day. Fun, busy little airport and has the cheapest fuel around.
I'm a complete aviation novice but I do love your plane! It looks so... interesting inside! It must be a blast, flying all over like that.
Great landing Matt ! I like the Citations they’re small and a quick jet! Maybe a change in planes from the Bonanza?
CC is hilarious for this video. Neat little airports!
Been to this restaurant many times, great food. I like anywhere you can order a Chocolate milkshake @ breakfast. I really want to see you fly out to the Channel Islands!!!
Your certainly are a talented pilot and I enjoy watching your videos. If you don't mind some advice from an old geezer, all those sugary snacks and sodas may catch up with you some day.
I flew over Camario KCMA until a few days ago for my IFR traning and for my crosscountry I landed at Santa Barbara KSBA. Beautiful experience
Matt, thankyou for link to your Camarillo Airport adventure. I did see it in the past however I am old and forgetful.
OMG that shake and fries.... I wanted to jump right through the screen.
KCMA definitely a nice place to go to on the weekend, was the first XC I did during private pilot training. Great food and awesome area.
Flying into my favourite airports!!
Would love a voice-over explaining what ALL is going, for the MANY non-aviators watching. Utherwise, very interesting.
Awesome!
Thats awesome. Congrats!
Waiting for my lunch shall we go for a flight, love it
Another exceptional video, as always, Matt.
I recognized the FBO in SNA where you were swiping all those snax. I love Waypoint Cafe and the tritip sandwich is the go to.
Fries looked yummy! Girl at the table next to you not bad either. Great video; subscribed !
The tower controller at Camarillo had his hands full!
Nuts! Love it.
Awesome flying footage, once again! Last Saturday, I finally got to fly our club's Beechcraft (not as PIC, sadly - we have an hour limit I don't meet quite yet), and it somehow gives a whole different dimension to watching your videos. I mean, a 1964 Debonair B33 is a very different beast from a 1981 straight tailed Bonanza - but not *that* different :)
Congratulation for that fantastic 1st time jet landing!
The glass cockpit in the citation mustang was so nice
Yeah it is although it's just a g1000
@@danielmichel7000 "Just a G1000" LoL
Great job!! Im sure the sense of speed is something that you needed to adjust from the Bonanza to a jet when departing and landing.
The Citation seemed so smooth and quiet! You want one after that I am sure :)
Nicely done!
I wish I had known you were coming to Eagle Creek Airpark...would liked to have gotten a chance to meet you.
Harris Ranch best place to land and eat. Best landing aircraft is the Bonanza. California, the best state to fly in. Nice videos!
...excellent first jet landing Matt!
Great flying matt
Amazing landing, amazing day you have day all perfect.
That must have been an awesome feeling flying that jet.
I was at my home airport on a Sunday and it was late in the afternoon. Brandywine KOQN had a 3000-foot runway and jets could land there. A jet landed, a Citation, and it parked on the ramp at the terminal building. No one was there except for myself and a friend. A man got out and asked me where the nearest restaurant was. I told him he should have flown 13 miles west to Chester County Carlson as there was a restaurant on the field. I asked him where he was flying to but he said he was just out flying for the day.
He was from California. KOQN is near Philadelphia. I usually took an Archer, never thought to take a jet.
Love your vids and confidence! I would love to fly with you!
You have me looking at the Waypoint Cafe menu. That french dip sandwich looked tasty!
Too bad you weren't on the south/central coast yesterday, as you could have a beautiful view of the Falcon 9 launch & landing at Vandenberg AFB.
I once had the chance to fly in a B24 Liberator. The only catch was it was a one way flight to Camarillo. No biggy. Took the flight. Landed, called a friend to come and find me ... and ate in that very restaurant whilst waiting. Good times.
Cool adventure ✈️👍😊
GREAT JOB!
Dammit I’m so jealous. Love it.
Freakin eh! Very cool! In my neighborhood too. I hail outta Livermore.
Love the bonanza! But that mustang is pretty sweet!
My goodness the cookies. Wow. But seriously. You are one gifted soul. Your parents have to be so proud of you. Too bad I didn't make myself the world of my life like you. I do what I can. But man, you are the man! If it flies, I expect you to make it awesome. Loved the DC-3 series, your joining another streamer round the world, you fly jets. There really isn't anything you can't do Matt. Keep going, never stop. Besides, your videos are awesome. Love the Sony A7iii that you use too. Yeah, I pay attention.
It's so awesome seeing someone achieve their dreams and excel at it. I wish I could afford to get my PPL
It is not hard to excel at flying an airplane. It is incredibly easy.
I started flying and driving at the same time. Driving a car is way harder and as it turns out, much more dangerous.
owner 'we need to get down', Matt 'umm we are a little low right now.... looking at the pappies'..... lol. When the right seat is more experiened than the left...
Looked smart!
DAMN Matt, you were at my home airport! Waypoint Cafe is the BEST! I did all of my flight training at camarillo. Such a small world.
I live here~! This is where I'm learning to fly :D KSBA baby!
JP is everywhere!
I know, right? Wasn't he just in the Caribbean with Steveo1kinevo?
I feel like he’s come from nowhere and is suddenly latching on to every famous aviation you tuber he can ... Trent, Matt, Steve etc
@@MrStunnd they all met at OSKOSH
Yes , he sure gets around doesn't he . Lucky guy !
@@MrStunnd His around the world trip with funforlouis got him the attention but he has been doing aviation videos before that
Hey Matt, we were on the same Atlanta center frequency just a few hours ago when you were going to Huntsville! You had just checked on and I was being handed off to Memphis center. Cool that you've made it down south! You should stop by my home airport KMBT for a bit of lunch sometime.
What are the advantages of the glass cockpit over having some analog dials as backup as well?
Awesome.
That tower controller was kick ass!
Moral of the story is...Gotta make more money....
Too bad they discontinued the mustang
I was on frequency with you as you were departing SNA. Came off the Coastal Route headed back home to San Diego (super easy) down from IZA and CMA, where I did my primary and where I actually grew up. I thought I heard you, not sure if I said hello or not.
Great video. I just returned from a Caribbean cruise and will send a link from a few pictures and a video from Maho Beach St. Maarten.
that was really cool.
