I knowwwww 😭. I was so excited to get mine and I reaaaaly wanted to like them. Their concept was so cute, and the photos of their prototypes were really pretty. But unfortunately the execution was not there 😥.
No problem! I was disappointed in their quality. If you are a doll collector, I would say pass on these. But these would still be suitable if you are looking for a cheap BJD to customize, because they do come with an extra faceplate (although no eyes).
Actually wire has been used for a while now on BJDs. Never seen it come with it though. I have wire in my 70 cm because his weight alone causes his legs to buckle. When good elastic, hot glue, and rubber rings don't work, wire is the last ditch effort.
Is it possible to fix any of these issues with glue/putty/wire/etc? Especially the head? This set of dolls really has my heart and trying to decide if the quality issues are really enough to stop me…
I cancelled my personal order after the notice about fabric colors fading 😅 although i did really like the designs so im happy to see what they actually look like in reality!
I ordered 3 of these dolls so I still have 2 more to unbox. Their concept is really cute but the execution felt really rushed and cheap. I guess these will become new doll makeover projects for me! 😅
@@MJHsuArthaha, I actually was going to get it to customize/repaint, myself. I mostly cancelled just because I wasn't sure about how the rest of the equality would be. Love their body and face size sculpts!
I bought the set and they are super super cute but it is a complete p a i n to get them to stand with the ones with longer hair let alomg getting them in a cute pose. I'm new to bjds, how can I fix these up to get them to stand and pose a little better?
Hello! That's a really good question! I also had trouble with getting these to stand. The wires inside the legs are supposed to help with poses and standing, but I find them more annoying than helpful. The absolute best way is to get a doll stand. I have a video recommending the my favorite ones: czcams.com/video/gffs2dpdB98/video.html These are great for mini BJD or other fashion dolls. In my video I show how you can easily cut the stand to fit smaller dolls (which I actually did for these ten thousand escapes ones). Hopefully this helps!

I just ordered the angel and got the devil luckily in the blind box! Wasn't expecting it. Yeah the face plate doesn't seem the best but I can't help but say I am in love with these dolls. Saw my friend had the whole set (minus the angel and hidden demon one) and wanted one, more so after seeing the angel. If the head has problems I'll just use the putty and if that doesn't work adhesive of some sort. They are super adorable!

honestly, I don't really mind the quality issues. Mine still hasn't come in the mail yet (hopefully I get it within this week or the next), but I'm sure I can find some way to fix each of the issues. All I care about is if the doll looks nice. Plus any doll that's small enough to carry around in my bag or pocket is a plus for me. The only one I'm apprehensive about is the cheetah girl, since I don't know if her jacket is real leather or not, and that can start to crack if not taken care of properly.
The doll does look nice! And I like the size too. I unboxed the snow leopard in my latest video, which is basically the white version of the cheetah girl. The jacket is NOT real leather 😆. So eventually it will start to crack and peel if you're not careful.
There is a tiny bit of putty that comes with the doll. It should be enough to attach eyes and keep the hair pieces attached. But I recommend the the Uhu putty (in my BJD supplies list, linked in the video description). The putty that comes with the doll leaves behind a lot of sticky residue .

i have used a stiff wire in one of my old dolls with single jointed elbows to fake a double joint 😅

You can take the wires out pretty easily. I ended up restringing the whole doll and the joints feel better.
I took the wires out of mine too 😆. I haven't tried restringing yet, but I will probably end up doing that too!
