Just a reminder that this hack got 10K downloads in 30 hours (and is also the highest rated hack on RHDC by a wide margin), there hasn't been a hack this big since Last Impact.
The peakest of peak CZcamsr reviewers is back once again to review yet another Rovertronic (& Arthurtilly) project Also, for your MGS level, you could've used the valley boundary type and not have to place 1000s of tiles for a wall, I'm shocked that MB64 handled that much Good review 👍
A lot is missing in this program unfortunately, I am basing this on the videos I have seen so far. Some examples would be the clams and fish that were in the 3rd level of the game. I think some textures might be missing as well. I don't think this has doors either, at least not star doors; it probably doesn't have pipes either.
I always kinda thought game builder garage was a test to what people could do with a 3d edited. If they made that, the reality of a Mario maker 3D isn’t that far away.
I know Rovert as the guy who made a chip's challenge hack with finicky arrow tiles, and replied to a comment that said "The arrows are broken pls fix" with "How are they broken"
Hey PhantomBane, love your videos. You're basically the only fangame/romhack youtuber I can think of. You ever heard of Mushroom Kingdom Fusion? I'd love to see you take a look at that fangame. It's a continuation of another fangame, and it's basically the most insane 2D Mario fangame you'll ever see. I tried it because I saw somebody mention it in a video about fangames at SAGE and said the problem was "Too Much Content". The entire thing is based around crossovers. Just some of them are: - Sonic - Mega Man - Metal Slug - DOOM - Halo - Dynamite Headdy - a bunch of random NES, SNES, and Genesis games that I don't know. Mega Man gets an entire dedicated world, and it's pretty good. Sonic gets one too although it's also just about Sega Genesis in general. The first world is 30 levels long and has a good chunk of Mario Fanservice too. Boss Battles are pretty fun. It's also got a ton of playable characters. Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Mega Man, Roll, Zero, Vile, Sir Arthur, Link, and i'm sure i'm forgetting others. I think Samus is coming soon. Sadly the game isn't finished, but damn, if what's there isn't enough for you to play at least for a week. It's not insanely difficult, but there's just so many levels, including secrets. It'd be really interesting to see you talk about it. Sorry the comment is sorta off topic, just wanted to suggest it. I've actually been having a lot of fun with MB64 myself. Wondering when we'll see a level that feels like it could've been an actual SM64 level. Honestly, I feel kind of greedy saying this in a way, but I really wish that something like this ended up coming out on an SM64 PC Port version. I feel like it'd give way less restrictions, alongside making it was easier to have stuff like Online COOP and a dedicated level browser and downloader. I know one of the biggest parts of this game is that it runs natively, but I just feel like it hinders it in a way.
Mario Builder 64 really cool bane but I don't make levels I just play there levels for fun and I did make 2 levels test chambers from Aperture Tag: The Paint Gun Testing Initiative but Portal 2 got SO MANY test chambers
Your mistake is not using Parallel Launcher it seems. I'm excited to make levels but its going to be difficult and its going to frustrate me just to think of an idea for a level I'm so glad this was finally made
mario builder 64 is an AMAZING romhack but oh my god seeing bob-omb meadows here scared the absolute hell out of me. like "oh shit that's me" all suddenly
Yeah i'm getting those same false positives when downloading the emulator which sucks when it comes to downloading so I don';t know whether it's safe or not
The stage building is still very basic, since you can only build with cubes. If people were also able to build with triangle like tiles, it would make this Mario 64 maker even more ambitious.

"Last Impact" namesake has never made this much sense so far
B3313 is a big hack before that.
It kinfd reminds me of toad tool 64

Imagine how much crazier this hack would be if it implemented all the engine optimizations from Return to Yoshi's Island.
I'm just happy they included the Motos. As the #1 Moto fan, this made my day.
This is just like the Tony Hawk custom level editor but now for Mario. If I had this instead of Tony Hawk, I would have spent weeks in this thing.

Except imo gbg was just way to complicated for how restricted and time consuming it took to complete a project
It’s a head of its time, from a retro game crazy
Can't wait to see what crazy stuff comes of this
Looks awesome!

Hey bane Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is coming soon

Funny to read the title as "Mario Builder 64 is the 3D Mario Maker / Always Wanted", which it looked like imo at first
If they do a game like this, they will send a cest and desist letter to take down the mod and then release the game.
Proud to be a beta tester

it's awesome
Check out ocarina of time fan hack ultimate trial is amazing i would like to see you cover it
Awesome! Please tell me that someone will do a similar work with Ocarina Of Time (or someone could add their object into this hack). 🤩
mario builder 64 is an AMAZING romhack but oh my god seeing bob-omb meadows here scared the absolute hell out of me. like "oh shit that's me" all suddenly
I really want to make some levels but my antivirus got so aggressive that it corrupted my file system somehow -.-
Interesting
can u build walmart
I played this on my phone with mupen64plus fz and it's fun to mess around with.
Did you figure out how to set up sd card emulation? If so, could you tell me how? You don't have to but it would be very nice!
@@Brocky_system on android n64 emulators don't have that.
Bro used b3313 demo fotge
👍🏻
Yeah i'm getting those same false positives when downloading the emulator which sucks when it comes to downloading so I don';t know whether it's safe or not
Me too, but it happens to me with the virtual sd card thingy.
It is safe, the warnings happen to everyone and they're false positives
