Family Trip to Seward Alaska 2023, Make-A-Wish Trip, Kenai Fjords Cruise, Glacier Hike, Dog Sledding

Locals recommended Ray's Waterfront restaurant and The Cookery but we didn't get to try. The Cookery needs a reservation a few days ahead of time. The Exit Glacier hike was nice and doable for little children but a tougher hike might have been great too since our youngest is 10 years old. We didn't get to see any land animals. There's a higher chance for that in the beginning of summer. The Day cruise was about 4-5 hours long and that was just enough for the 10-year-old. August is known as a rainy month but we were fortunate that we only had rain for a day and a half out of the week. Next time, we'd like to come in May or June and see more snow. There wasn't a lot of bug problem. I did use all 12 DEET wipes but didn't need any more than that.
