Oh my Goodness!!! Thank God for this Wonderful Posting which brings back such Precious Memories of the Great Diamond Jubilee of The Church of God In Christ!!! There's Still such a Strong Anointing on this Service!!! I'm Almost in Tears now, as I see so Many of the Great Fathers of the Church, a Young Bishop Delanoe Ellis, Bishop F.D. Washington, Bishop Chandler Owens, Bishop O. T. Jones Jr., And so many of the Great Fathers of the Church, who are now in Heaven!!! I never Dreamed I would ever see these Blessed Images again, not even knowing that such Archival footage Even Existed Until Now!!!!!! I was a young man of only 24 years of age, in 1982 , and it was my first trip to Memphis! Of Course I was Completely Blown Away!!! The Saints had told me for years that I Had to Go to Memphis, so I Determined in the Diamond Jubilee Year to do So. It turned out to be One of the Greatest Events in my Entire Life!!! I saw and Entered the Legendary Mason Temple, where the body of our Saintly Founder, is Gloriously Entombed!! To this day, their is still an Incredible, tangeble, Great Anointing, Eminatimg from the tomb of our Great Founder!! Upon Feeling the Presence of God so Strong at Bishop Mason's Tomb, I was prompted by The Holy Ghost, to place 3 small bottles of olive oil,( Used to anoint the sick) on top of the Marble Tomb of the Bishop for about 20 minutes, to allow them to Absorb The Anointing!! When I Brought these same bottles of oil back to my city, and anointed the people with them Everybody in Sight was getting Healed!!! These bottles of oil turned out to be my Greatest Souvenir From the Convocation!!! Thank You So Much ❤️ for posting this Historic Vedeo!!! After Seeing This Vedeo, my Joy is Now Complete!, And My Cup Runneth Over!!!!

Wow! Bishop J. O. Patterson was an amazing man beyond any I know that he was able to attend and preach the 1996 Convocation when he died December 29, 1989.
I agree!! He died in '89. This was '96 if I am not mistaken. Bishop Chandler Owens had 2 Sunday morning services that year. I was in the choir at both the sunrise service at Mason Temple and this one too at the convention center. I'm not sure where they got that from.
