Thanks so much ... yes the fresh air is seperate from hvac system, there is also an air cleaner in the room that you do not see behind a chair.. we didn't seal the bottom of the doors.. when the smoke rises there is a vent in there that sucks it out..

I created a basement/man cave. It smashed this out of the park. The fact there’s cigars on the table is a huge mistake. Humidity is the key. Keep them safe the alcohol can stay in an average fridge. Cigars... they need perfect temp. Peace.
@@mattsowinski7995 ... not sure how your room is layed out but we located the cigar room not to far from HVAC unit an exterior wall as we had to put exhaust system in an cut a vent for fresh air because the room was sealed . The cost of vent system an installation was built into contractors buildout cost so this room was around 50k..

Air purifier on the ground is not very effective. smoke rises. That machine draws air from the ground.
The room actually has an exhaust vent in the ceiling that pulls the smoke out. The machine on the ground is just an air purifier to clean the air
