Dad surprised his daughter by getting a job, she was very happy!!! Mom wasn't thrilled to eat at home, she craved luxury living!! Belittling Jared for trading careers, she was truly a gold-digger and materialistic woman who thought of herself!!! Caryn is worried that peers at the Country club would gossip, as Charlie guessed right. Dignity may not pay the bills, but it does keep everyone away from the streets!! Caryn is going to regret her bad decisions soon, but looking for a guy who will pamper her like a queen while married will hurt!!! Ouch!!!
The mom wanting a lavish lifestyle? If I dated a man who was filthy rich and has a super nice house and car, I'd ask him to downgrade (if we got serious) cuz I've never really been around a lot of money..so it would make me terribly uncomfortable.

This isn't the first time Tricia has played a selfish and ungrateful woman who left her family for a life of luxury. The lesson is still the same, appreciate what you have, especially your family, because if you don't have family, then you don't have anything.
Forget that the father and daughter may be the same age what you should be thinking is that family matters...the only thing that should matter. Apparently Karen didn't learn this.

Some people can be so selfish & self centered, not appreciating what they have. In Marriage, once the trust is gone; it ruins any hope of being a happy married couple again. We live in a greedy world & one or the other spouses may think the grass is greener somewhere else until they wake up & realize it’s fake or artificial grass. We come into this world with nothing & we will leave it the same way, so thank God for your blessings & be the best you can be. In the end; that’s all that matters. This life is temporary, but eternity is forever, so live according to what Jesus asks us all to do in order to be saved! A fancy car,or house, designer clothes or hand bags etc. won’t help you when you stand before God & have to give an account of your life. Just think about it, because we’re seeing Prophecy being fulfilled each day. Nothing in this world is worth your soul! Honestly, I'd be happy with what they got their bills are paid. They got a roof overhead food in this summer. They're not struggling they're not worried about being homeless. They have Car Insurance unlike me. They live in a home that doesn't flood every time it rains. They can actually afford food and clothes are not bewaring. The same seekers they bought years ago for $2.50 on clearance that are killing their feet. I would love to have their life

The dad in the plays it spot on. Doesn't matter what it is, you do what you have to do for the kids to succeed. I do get a kick of how they hit the nail on the head on how the estranged wife come back. 90% of the time that happens! It doesn't get discussed much but it seems to either be constantly looked over or just accepted. The woman can go out, get a fuckin train ran on her drop kick the husband and kids down the street out of the blue. 3-4 years down the road the husband has built a new life for himself and the kids where they are taken care of and happy then guess who the fuck shows up?? BINGO like fuckin clock work
