The SR-71 Blackbird he mentioned was a spy plane during the 60’s and the Cold War. It was an amazing plane. It contained no missiles nor guns. It could literally outrun missiles with pure speed. It was classified for several years but is now decommissioned. The Aurora project is rumored to have replaced it. Great car show and great poker sesh. 👍🏼
That is some great info. The fact that the car is modeled after it I guess it would be seen but not heard? Pretty neat.
I used to work with an engineer who formerly worked on the SR-71 program. He said the SR-71 generated so much heat that it was designed with slightly separated plates while on the ground. So it essentially leaked most of it's fuel out by the time it took off began flying. As it got hotter those plates were designed to expand and seal. Then it would have to be refueled in the air again before it actually began it's mission. Don't know why but I always found that interesting! lol
@@harlont That is true. I've had an odd love affair with that plane over the years as well. Every time it takes off it has to refuel.

@6:22 that is a McLaren Speedtail. Very rare to see in America. It doesn't have mirrors on the side so it doesn't meet federal safety standards and therefore is illegal to import. A select few have skirted the law by saying it's for show purpose only. Dominque Ansel bakery in NY made the cronut famous. There is still a line every morning there.

He said you have to bet 3 million in 6 months to hit the highest level at Station and he does that in a couple months. Then says he still is disciplined and doesn't like to risk too much. I'd like to know what he considers not that much? :) To hit 3 million gambled you have to be putting up some big bets.
