Olga looks more like a moon to me than a sun, but yes that definitely looks like an eyeball, and kitties whiskers look like a mushtache on it too which makes me think moon (although it is missing its rounded side on the right of Olga!) I always wanted a tuxedo cat and a Brindal cat! And Mainecoons are really cool cats!

I think that if you can keep up with the Beatles stitches, doing all of them to celebrate your 50th is a fabulous idea! It would be a lot of fun to see how well you do. Another option for patterns with a zillion color changes: instead of finishing all the stitches of one color, stitch all of one length (all six strands) or the entirety of a skein at a time. That way you won't get quite as tired of the single color but can still zip through a pattern quickly.
Always good to have many things to try! :D Where did you get the project tags for your floss drop rings? That's just genius and I want to be like the Cool Kids!

Oh that was fun! I'm working on a few of the same WIPS. Bluebirds of Hope (I'm close enough I could go to Clare's Stitching Post and pick it up), Well Hello There (I'm doing one a month and unbelievably staying on track) and Autumn Love. I started Autumn Love for my birthday last year and finally managed to get the entire center done and have now started working on the star border. I hope you keep showing yours because it makes me want to get going on it again.

I have to get back to well hello there, I am halfway done and they go by so fast it would be silly to not finish them. Thanks for motivating me to get to work on them. ❤️

J always stitch on "what I want, when I want" and have LOADS of WIPs and I LIVE to make bags so always have another bag to fill so why not start another project! That Halloween quilt pattern is adorable, I would love to make it!

The floss drops are ones that I 3D print. I based them off the ones you can get from the fat quarter shop. I just added an extra hole for single strands.

Not just for WIP parades.... I hear the term WIP and I blurt out "Watch me WIP!!" so you are in good company, lady! I absolutely LOVE the idea of a round robin stitch!! I have not found any other embroiderers where I live, however 😔 Where did you get the project card you have for Bluebirds of Hope? Is is plastic/resuable?
So glad I’m not alone. 😊 the project card I use I made on vista print. Just has the same of the project, designer, fabric and start date. Hope that helps. 😊
