How about noise insulation inside? Is it comparable with other cars of the same class like golf or focus? Is it better or worse in this case?

Of course it is much worse than its rivals as always.

Pretty noisy I must say. And I don't mean only the engine, also tire noise and wind noise. It's very desapointed in that matter. Noise isolation in the cabin should be improved urgently.

Well, its still consumes better than a regular gas engine. At highway speeds legal most place 110-130 it consumes around 5.5 liter in long run, no city. At higher speeds from 130-160 it takes up to 7 liter. Thats still very good compared to any non diesel engine

Toyota has some a small percentage of shares in Suzuki. They do not have a good market in India and some other countries also, while Suzuki has. It's a good way to sell some of their cars by rebranding. This version is cheaper than Corolla (1.8 vs 2.0). Suzuki does not have low emission engines and advanced hybrid/electric technology, Toyota does. Win -win situation for both. They are also united for the japanese car makers "cause" (europeans do the same).
But this engine is meant for urban traffic/medium speeds, not highways. At high speeds it has to run on higher rpms, thus eating all the juice.

I bought the sedan version of this car with 1.8 hybrid engine and I regret it. It is painfully slow on the highway and there it consumes as much gas as any other 1.8L engine car would do.
    1. Only buy this car if you will drive in the city and nowhere else.
    2. Thanks to the fuel tank which according to the sensors is empty after drinking up 31L gasoline the range on the highway is 400km. (According to specs the fuel tank should be 43 liters, but when the car tells you it's empty and you can only fill 31 liters into it, then you do no risk driving an other 100-200km)
    3. You cannot even keep up the pace with the traffic on the highway. You just peacefully drive with 130 and try to accelerate to like 140 to avoid a sticky situation and the engine is already revving with 6000rpm and you accelerate to 140km/h with the acceleration of a 40 years old soviet Lada... :) This car is a joke...
    4. If you can only drive it in the city, why do you need a full size sedan or wagon? Then a hatchback only version would be enough...
There is about 3000km in it but I am about to sell this car and buy a proper car without this hybrid trickery.... (I sold my 2017 Opel Astra J sedan 1.6 naturally aspirated engine, for buying this Toyota but I deeply regret it, that was like a battleship compared to it)

It's very strange. I have a Toyota chr 1.8 Hybrid which gets a fuel consumption of 23km/liter on the highway. Worth saying the speed limit here is 100kmh. But this fuel consumption is INSANELY good for a crossover in this class and it's the same drivetrain as your corolla. I think you just drive like a Maniac
