Sadly, we had a "pending" for Wonder in March, but we ended up not getting the upgrade. But twice before, it has. Fingers crossed for everyone!
I just received my email saying I won my bid for balcony room for sailing of august 4th!!! So excited! I did bid 190 Per person lol which I think was a little much but I really wanted It!!! So I’m super excited now!!!! And it’s perfect room mid ship deck 8!!!! 🙌🏼
Wow, congratulations! So do you did check in online before? I did and can I still bid?
@@joustindarmanta4011 yeah I did check in when It opened right away and I got a really good room. And then when they sent me a link for bidding. I bid right away. I bid a good amount. $190 per person. Usually people are cheap and bid only a couple dollars above what the minimum is. Over the phone I told them what I bid and they said most likely I got It lol
@@joustindarmanta4011 just look up Royal up and see if you can bid on your ship.
Congratulations I put mine in 2 weeks ago we sail in 32 days fingers crossed.
@@bigguy1403 good luck. Long as you offered more than the minimum you should be good
We have bid a few times, got two upgrades and one time got nothing, was told the day of boarding that we didn’t win. We are due to sail this Monday and we have not heard back anything so most likely we didn’t get an upgrade. Will be my first time staying in an interior room. Oh well that’s the risk I guess 😅
My fingers are crossed that you get good news Monday! 🤗 We’ve stayed in interiors, and they are very similar to the ocean view and balcony staterooms. Just a little darker in the mornings which are great for sleeping in 😉 Hoping you have a great cruise!🥳
Question did you have any future cruises booked with Royal Caribbean when you won your bid?
After sailing with Royal Caribbean for 11 cruises. We finally got the offer up for our last cruise. We bid for the grand suite from the junior suite. We never heard anything back from it. All the way up to the day of sailing. I asked about it at guest relations. Was told nothing available. So we were very disappointed to be teased with it never even being told not accepted.
I’m so sorry to hear that! I would have been super bummed, too! Fingers crossed that it works out for you next time, though! 😊
Best thing is to not set yourself up for disappointment. Throw out your bid and forget it. Assume you’re not getting anything different, you’re not out any $$, just get excited about your cruise, ports, and everything else and give it up to the cruise gods. Don’t go in expecting it.
