I’m 29 years old and haven’t had my first child yet and so it’s really nice to hear a little about your experience since I have first time mom nerves. I love to hear the direction of your content. Congratulations! I enjoy your channel and I think it is fine for you to share aspects of your life which include a baby. My baby is 16 weeks old tomorrow, and honestly, she is my whole world. It’s not really about her being a lot of work, she is just the most important thing to me and the biggest part of my life. If you need to take a break away after the baby arrives, then that could maybe help you adjust and try to find a balance. 🙂
Congrats!!!! I had a very similar situation when I found out I was pregnant. I had weird symptoms and just knew that I was probably pregnant so I took a test. I think I was like 12 days DPO but it was like 5 days before I was supposed to get my period. Sure enough it was positive! And now he’s almost 7 months old🥹
Awwww congratulations, Kaylee and Brandon!!! I've enjoyed your channel for years and never commented, but I think now's the time! Having your baby boy will be more incredible than you can even imagine. We had our first baby last December, and ours is a boy, too! Just like you, I grew up in a family of all girls lol. All sisters and girl cousins. I was nervous to have a boy for that reason, too. I didn't know what to do with a boy! I know it sounds sort of cliche, but it'll all come naturally once he's here. Don't be afraid to ask for help once he's here, or even while you're still pregnant! My second trimester was definitely the best, I had so much energy, so hopefully you do, too! That first trimester exhaustion is brutal!!
But anyway, congrats again, this is a super exciting time! Looking forward to whatever you decide to do with your channel. I'll love it and be watching regardless. I have to say, I totally agree with never "putting the camera in your child's face." 😊💕

I am 6 weeks 1 day and I've had quite a bit of cramping, which has made me anxious, so it's good to know I'm not the only one and it's normal. Congratulations!
Congratulations to you as well!! That sounds like the same situation for sure, the first few weeks with the cramping caught me so off guard!
If you haven't already I would recommend checking out Sierra Schultzzie (Sierra & Steven IRL) content she does a really great job of balancing her life and adding her daughter into the mix without any feeling of exploitation that you're worried about.
Oh yes I used to watch Sierra all the time! I haven’t in awhile but I’ll have to check out her newer content!

I'm so sorry, this is definitely an off-topic comment and it's related to an older video of yours... I'm just coming from your talking to strangers video that featured your sister, who I'm the same age now (I was 12 when she was 12), and I have to say that I wish I had seen your video so much sooner since I've gotten myself in far too much trouble at that age and forward, and it's so important to keep kids safe. Your video really touched me, and I wish I was so lucky to have such a great older sister keeping me safe from harm.

Congratulations! I have 4 boys 😱 and Girl 4 chickens just wait for chicken math now at 107 chickens 9 quail 3 rabbits 1 cat 2 dogs and a turtle on our little homestead we have only had for almost 2 years!
Ohh my goodness! I have heard about chicken math! 😂 my aunt has a little homestead herself up in Vermont and has warned me that chickens are the “gateway farm animal” ha! Brandon was smart and built the coop bigger than needed knowing we would probably be adding to the family next year😂😂

I lived off toasted cheese in my first trimester.. but I start to throw up at 4 weeks pregnant which is usually when I know.
First off, congrats!! I saw this on Instagram and was so excited for you. It’s fun to be pregnant the same time as someone you watch online. I am 24 weeks currently and due in October.
Trust me, the mood swings do not disappear. I feel bad for my husband as I can be fake fighting with him and then get actually upset! Haha
Congratulations!! And oh boy well Brandon better brace himself 😂 I’m definitely still moody, but slightly less than before. But omg the fake fighting thing! Brandon will tease me over nothing and I immediately get ticked off 😂
So with the mood swings. Myself and my friend love our husbands dearly but when pregnant are the only times divorce even entered our minds.... it's rough but push through
Watch closely for PPD. I got it so much worse during my pregnancy where I had bad mood swings. :)

I admit, when i saw the title, i thought "Oh, no, is she going to become a family vlogger?". Thank you for deciding not to to that! You baby deserves a happy childhood that he can enjoy to the fullest, he's too pure and innocent to have his life put on the internet!
Completely agree!! I've always put privacy ahead of views, even in the case of daily life. And now this is a whole different level of wanting to keep that privacy! It also just seems totally exhausting trying to capture every moment on camera, I don't know how family vloggers manage that. I'm excited to just be in the moment!
Agree 200%. Family vloggers exploit their children for money. Yes, you can continue to make content without including your child in the videos. There's a vlogger from Ireland, called Melanie Murphy. She's got videos about some pretty controversial and personal subjects on her channel, but she always keept her child private! Nobody knows how her son looks like, even though he might show up here and there and she occasionally talks about him. She is protecting his privacy and i know that you can do it. Is our job as parents, to protect our children's privacy.
