Kids also like Swedish accents mostly because of the Swedish Chef
spanish and japanese
Spanish- Portuguese and Caribbean.
As a Brit, my personal favourite accent is the southern USA accent. Absolutely love it.
Look into the "yooper" accent. It's one of the sexiest accents ever. It's from upper michigan.
funny because everyone else in the US hates southern accents
i cant tell if you’re being sarcastic
@94709 Nope. Not being sarcastic.
It’s possible you might like mine. I was born and grew up in Michigan for the first seven years of my life, but moved to Virginia, a southeastern state, in 2011. I probably picked up a different accent from living here for so many years.
@@nothanks1239 how you have a high class accent and like low class accents? 😂
"The Irish language fell out of useage for a number of reasons" eh no,it was forbidden,we were ruled by the English who forbade us from speaking our native language, that was the only reason. It was still spoken in the home but you had to speak English in the workplace or school or you were punished.
RULE BRITAINIA, BRITANIA RULES THE WAVES
She also said Irish people were slaveowners in the Carribbean? The Irish influence on their accent is due to them also being slaves there, she's demonized the victims. And ye Irish didn't fall out of usage like she said either lol, it was illegal to speak and so people were forced to learn English although they tried to keep it alive by teaching it in the middle of forests (bush schools), the same way they tried to maintain Catholicism.
What law forbid the Irish from speaking their language? It was banned in some specific scenarios but the Irish were allowed to speak Irish.
@@maxdavis7722 I never mentioned the word law,i said banned and there has been numerous bans on the Irish language since the 1300's. And yes it was banned in specfic scenarios which is exactly what i said, read my comment,i said banned in the workplace and school. We were "allowed" speak it sure but you were heavy stigmatised if you spoke it in public so people didn't,that's how it died out, people were afraid of been ostracised so stop speaking it.
@@michellekennedy4426 if the ban wasn’t implemented through law, how was it implemented? Which bans since the 1300s are you referring too?
Your initial statement was “we were forbidden from speaking our native language”. You made it seem like the language was completely banned. You say “you were heavily stigmatised” what do you mean by that? Do you mean the general public looked down on the language?
I expected Mr. Affable for the British accent, instead we get Ken Watanabe's Japanese accent 😂
Seems like Chris not only got to meet Ke Watanabe but also made it onto a Watchmojo video
They run out of ideas I guess
Yeah ig
they been "running out of ideas" for 13 years. mfs just be sayin anything
LOL
Lmaooooo facts
funny thing is they're all speaking English regardless of the accent 🤣

hm Croatia why not on list
Canadian accents sound like US accents to most people 🤷🏼♀️
@@maddijasnyyall is same put English and difirent acent who care
Canada on here but not US? Literally the same accent so it basically is up there lol
Where is Scottish flag? You a bit spec mate
the greek accent is underrated
They could have just used Trevor Noah for all of these, his ability to mimic accents is just dead perfect.
As an Australian, I find it hilarious that you guys thing our accent is sexy 😂 we definitely don't feel like it's sexy
Irish here, in fairness, they're easily entertained...or grasping at straws!
4:07 I'm only here for my affable lad Chris Broad
Javelin: "American women all love accents."
Harley: "We do, because we got none."
I have an accent lol 🤣🤣
But North Americas do have accents though.
To be fair, if you spend all your life drinking water, fruit juice and soda tastes like gold to you
And yes, you have an accent, you just don't realize
Wait we do have accents?
There so many different kind of American accents
I'm glad my country Nigeria made it to the list ❤️ our accent is a vibe, for real. Also surprised New York and southern American accent didn't make it but this is still the most accurate video I've seen on sexiest accents. Thumbs up mojo 😊🔥
NY and The South are hated largely in the US
11:54 South Africa has *eleven* official languages: Afrikaans, English, Ndebele, Sepedi, Sesotho, Setswana, Swazi, Tshivenda, Xhosa, Xitsonga, and Zulu. South Africans that are famous in the USA include Nelson Mandela, Trevor Noah, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Miriam Makeba, Jonathan Butler, Hugh Masekela, Sharlto Copley, and Charlize Theron.
U forgot Elon Musk
Italian living in UK here, thanks for the confidence boost WatchMojo 😆
I'm also of Italian descent.
@@jarrettowens6073 Welcome to the family paisa' 😆
@@EveningSoother Grazie.
my mom's family was scandinavian so like you said in swedish, they pronoucned J as more of a Y sound, so i remember alot of my relatives that still had the strong accent pronounced my name to sound like Yason
I always thought the New Zealand accent can sound like a cross between Australian and South African English accents.
I am from Northern Ireland and saying there are 4-5 dialects you should have gave at least a few examples. I know you were being general but the accent across the Island of Ireland can vary greatly. Especially in Ulster, the accents are generally different than in any other parts of Ireland. Someone from Belfast or Derry wouldn't sound like a someone from Cork or Dublin at all.
Nah it varies a lot more in the Republic, cork and Dublin sound nothing alike, sure even Dublin itself has like 3 distinct accents. Then you've got Kerry, Dundalk, Cavan, Donegal, Sligo, etc all very distinguishable
@@nicolasreynoldsdominguez5109North Dublin (scumbag accent), South Dublin (Posh Prick accent), Common (Neutral accent)
DynamixWarePro Since I'm a descendant of Scotch-Irish, my Irish accent isn't as thick as some others.
There is alot more than 40 dialects in England, there is probably that many in London alone, our dialect developed deliberately to make it harder for posh people to understand and why there is so much class and location based division in our social structure
I'm British I've lived in Britain my entire life and I don't know ANYONE who speaks with an accent like the Queen. I know a few people with a "Cockney" accent but we have a ridiculous amount of different ways of speaking. There is no "British accent"
That applies to most countries, but we still have only 1 accent when we think of a country. America has a lot of accents but most only think southern/cowboy
@@Pyramanager I'm disappointed with this list because we have so many unique accents in the world so what is sexy to you is not sexy to someone else.
"There is no british accent"🤦♂️
@@Pyramanager not really. I’m not American but i know Jersey, southern/cowboy, New yoker
@@Pyramanager southern cowboy is the sexiest on earth lol 🤣
Good ol' Chris Broad!
4:06 affable
Glad to hear Irish, Scottish, Italian, German, Swedish, and French made it onto this list. I'm a descent of all of those, plus Dutch.
4:12 What an affable man that is
What an interesting list. Learned a lot. I personally prefer the British English. I melt when I hear it
4:06 Is that the one and only Chris Broad!?
I personally think all accents are sexy. If I have a top 10 it’ll be South African, Spanish, Irish, German, French, creole, Scottish, Japanese, British English and Arabic
Is that Mr affable I see?
Pure cliché. French accent is anything but sexy, it's the most obvious accent in any language. For me, there's nothing more sexy than Christoph Waltz's delicate Austrian accent.
My favorite is South African. It would be awesome if you did a top 20 of languages in their native tongue and how cool they sound. I think Israeli Hebrew sounds the most masculine and Brazilian Portuguese sounds the most feminine.
I used to work with a South African woman.
It is a really pleasing accent. 🇨🇦
Thank you
from a South African
South African accents especially amaswati
Ayy look it's the affable Chris!!
Mi glad fi see Jamaica pon di list 😁🇯🇲
I can't believe the Welsh accent didn't make it into the top 20, bad eggs watch mojo.
Welsh accents are the worst 😂
4:06 CHRIS BROAD XD
4:06 guy on the left seems affable
I only came here to see if Jamaican patois was on this and now I’m leaving at 9:25 I don’t care about the rest. Big up Trinidad and Tobago and any other Caribbean Islands on this list
IKR, we made it!!!!
Trini is my favorite, Jamaican is à close second.
@@candezsimmons2001 thank u for liking our way of speaking
I was annoyed when i saw the tittle of this video, but we got TWO!
y'all got 3 ... Barbados made the list too!
it's ya boi chris, innit
love this video was the only thing I want to see today
When I was a kid I saw The Harder They Come with Jimmy Cliff and there were subtitles and I was like they speak English I don’t need subtitles. I needed subtitles.
Please make an video the top 20 most hard languages to learn to speak. 🙏
Came here for the affable man himself
Italian sounds similar to Spanish phonetically , but Portuguese is actually the closest one to Spanish.
Greek sounds like someone from Spain talking Gibberish lol.
UK accents are so nice to listen for me.
Australian accents are so accurate and I’m Australian myself
I'm disappointed with this list because we have so many unique accents in the world so what is sexy to you is not sexy to someone else.
Fellow Aussie here, have to disagree with Aussie women having sexy accents. There's nothing more bogan imo...
For me personally, I love listening to Scottish, Irish and Spanish accents.
I’m an Aussie but I’m half British from Family and I have a mainly British accent
@@elidoesstuff5503 most people say I got a British accent when I’ve never been to Britain 😂

1. Australian
2. Australian
3. Australian
I’m here for Chris
i travel a lot. especially in my own country. never really thought about having an accent till more and more people would say to me " i just like listening you talk". i thought ok.what so great?? thing is i only have to travel 200 or so miles when people will comment right away. go to europe girls fall all over for it. britian, japan, caribbean all over. so i feel this is the greatest accent to have by far. it only goes back to a very small population from 1 city. where am i from??? " bang a yuwee here, i wana hit the packie befor we gota dunks. 😍😍 greatest city in the world.
Nice to see my accent make number 5, I'm flattered.
Damn Chris’ ego just skyrocketed after Watch Mojo featured his videos
4:07 quite an affable bloke right there innit
never expected Japanese to be on the list. Thanks haha
Awesome new Zealand is on this list .
Oh hey.. its Chris Broad and Risottoro!
16:21 "... a number of reasons"? Nope, just the one reason: the Brits came and demanded the Irish speak English language or have their tongues cut out.
4:06 what an affable clip
Japanese, Chinese, British, Mexican, French, Greek, Australian, & Russian. Sexiest Accents in my opinion.
Danish is mine cuz it sounds like the have a potato in they're mouth hahah.
@@MrThhg ...To each his own. 🤷🏿
Im here because chris broad is here
4:07 is when mr. affable appears
The top two were right on target.
I didn't even press play on the video ... I'm not doing this with y'all today.
A Caribbean accent makes me melt. I love it
Respect 🙏🏾🔥
Being mexican I am accustomed to the spanish accent... Yet when I went to Australia for a few days... dear god. There was no hope for me.
Aquí va a ver mojo de nuevo. Publicar otro vídeo que quieras ver😅
I am french and I am not surprised our accent is one of those which is loved by americans.
That's such a French person thing to say hahahaha. Irish man here 👋🇮🇪
@@JackNapier420 In France, you can have a american, irish, british, australian, canadian accent etc... we consider your accent like british. We make no distinctions.
To my opinion the French accent is (the most) sexy by definition.
For foreigners there's an easy way to tell an Aussie from a New Zealander. Ask them to count to 10 and if you crack up at "sex" you're talking to a Kiwi.
I keep with the french and maybe Brazilian portuguese
Spanish Accent is much more complex…
You have Colombian, Argentinian, Mexican, Chilean, Spanish etc etc
Every accent very unique.
Here for mr affable himself, Chris Broad of Abroad in Japan!
8:05 Jamaican accent 🇯🇲
14:50 English accent 🏴
16:01 Irish 🇮🇪
20:17 Italian 🇮🇹
I'm proud of my country, Brazil, being in the top 5, some few curiosities: we brazilians understand better english speaked by other Brazilian or latin people speaking It, majority part of brazilians think the british accent to be weird and is more hard to understand when It is speaked, and finally, here in Brasil (yes, with "S" because in portuguese is this way here) we have different accents from state to state or region to region like the north side of a same state like São Paulo is different from its south side, the carioca Accent (Rio de Janeiro), Bahiano accent (Bahia), Mineiro accent (Minas Gerais) and etc, here is rich in culture and diversity but It sucks when the foreigners portray and think that we are only the Rio de janeiro's beaches or the Amazon forest rain.
i'm proud of my Cajun/New Orleans accent
Brazilians understand better other brazilians. Who could tell…
My thoughts exactly
@@UnUltimoIntento in some cases people of a same nacionality don't understand the other people speaking a foreign tongue like english.

The slowed irish accent 🤤
I love that they used a clip from JOLLY for "Iranian Accent"
Ooooh pretty face Margot Robbie is on the thumbnail. MUST WATCH
I know they're going for countries, but I think it's a shame that a good ol' fashion American Southern accent wasn't on the list. Country girls can be totally hot when flirting with you. For me, it's in my Top 3.

"American women all love accents."
-Javelin, The Suicide Squad
this list should had been called "top 20 sexiest foreign to North America English language accents"
Argentine Spanish is what you get from the fusion between Spanish from Spain and Italian.
It's because there's a large number of Italian immigrants that settled in Argentina and when assimilating with the Spanish immigrants in Argentina, it creates a unique and different accent that Argentina has today.
I would've added the Greek accent in there, nonetheless I agree with this list
I never really heard a Greek accent before.
I never comment before watching a video but just once I will predict that my Canadian accent will not be on here.
Edit: Nailed it!
Because it sounds almost identical to the US to anyone who lives elsewhere
sheeesh its the affable man himself
I spy The Affable Chris Broad
Abroad in Japan 🤝
Accents people mistake me with sometimes its either German or UK English. I'm currently learning Dutch and it still sounds German lol.
Dutch, German, Japanese, and Portuguese (both Brazil and Portugal) accents are a turn on for me 😂😏

This a list that appluads all languages
Mine is Irish, that's why I love Colin Farrell plus he is hot to trot, but I wouldn't had thought that Italian is sexy being Italian myself.
It's a common mistkae to think Carmen Miranda was brazilian. She even spoke portuguese with an accent. A small accent, but still noticeably different from brazilian portuguese.
Carmem Miranda was born in Portugal from Portuguese parents but moved to Brazil as a baby. She spoke Brazilian Portuguese in the Radio Nacional way, all the singers from that era were trained to speak with a blend accent the same way was the movie stars in USA had the Transatlantic accent. But she could mimic her Portuguese parents accent perfectly . She had Brazilian citizenship and always referenced to herself as Brazilian.
Who else came here to see Abroad in Japan?
YASSSSSSSSSSSSS! I'M NIGERIAN GLAD WE ARE ON THIS LIST!!!!!!
Its not on the list but if you ever hear a Colombian accent of English its pretty cute too
The difference between Aussie and new Zealand accents, we have way more slang because we can't be F***ed saying the whole word and it gives us something distinct from other folk
British accent is the best
The American accent is slept on
