This is miraculous! I’ve had exact issue with my Qashqai close to a year which led to MOT failure. Nissan changed the air pressure sensor and battery but issue persisted.
Upon stumbling across your video, I tried the procedure which took less than 1 hour. To my greatest disbelieve, all errors cleared after about 7 miles of driving and without using an Obdator.
My car has remained error free for over a week.
Thank you for posting this video.

Great video. Saved me 1700 pounds. Took the car to the various top garages in the town and nobody could figure out what the problem was. One garage told me that they would need to change the whole DPF unit and would cost me 1700 pounds. I had no other option as my car was due for Mot and road tax and with these lights on the dashboard it would not pass MOT and so would not be able tax the car. So essentially useless car sitting in the garage.
Then I luckily stumbled upon your video and followed your instructions and hey presto....everything sorted. All lights gone and passed MOT with flying colours and car back on the road as new.
Can't thanks you enough. God bless you.

Done this today, cleared out the pressure pipe and cleared faults. Thanks very much for your time in listing this.

Absolutely brilliant!! You do panic when warning lights come on but this saved an expensive trip to Nissan, after a little perseverance sorted the problem perfectly,, thank you so much

Brilliant video sorted my problem, I would like to add that I found it really tough to get that break cable round the bend as it was blocked solid. After about 20 unsuccessful attempts I squirted some WD40 down the pipe and left it for a couple of hours this helped by both lubricating the rotating cable and softening the blockage. I kept removing the cable and wiping the black gunk off it and repeating until eventually got round the bend and cleared the blockage. The blockage test with the piece of paper was a great indicator that all was well. At one point I had tried to clear the blockage with tyre pump and adaptor so I knew the pipe was totally blocked. I think a wider pipe to the sensor would prevent this fault occurring. Some of my warning lights went out as soon as the blockage was cleared others took a couple of days and several restarts. Apparently if the engine does not detect the fault after several restarts it automatically clears all the warning lights (nice one nissan)
I came very close to giving up a few times so I hope this will add to the brilliant video and encourage people to keep trying until the wire breaks through. I am not sure how the engine uses the information from the exhaust pressure feedback sensor but since clearing the blockage my car seems to be running much better. Many thanks to Phil Jenkins for taking the time and trouble to make and post this video, my car totally fixed for £0.00

In my case turbo was worn out so everything was full of oil wich is probably the reasson why this happens.

Brilliant worked a treat followed this video did whilst pipe still on so no need to get removed. Pipe was blocked. Once blowing clear all errors went off. Driving a full day no issues. Didn’t need a diagnostic machine either to reset any errors. Husband is over the moon now 👍👍 thank you so much!!

Thank you for your brilliant video. I was getting really stressed out about this problem and my car was up for M O T . All the lights coming on, would be a definite fail. Most mechanics don't seem to know what to do to solve this problem and all they can suggest is changing the censor, at a considerable cost, with no guarantee that it would work. Anyway after finally coming across your video and after searching for a long time without finding the exact same issue as I had with my car. I was delighted to find a fix that made sense and could work for me and it did! Yes it's a bit fiddly and I found it helps if you gradually use shorter lengths of the cable sheath until you work the cable wire right through the pipe. Nevertheless it is a fantastic fix and my car has just gone through M O T, no warning lights in sight! What a relief you are a star sir. Thank you again.

Awesome, had this issue for quite some time, the code that saved from a borrowed scanner a guy gave me lead me to this video, saved me a lot of time and €€, after all didnt need to buy a scanner to properly figure out the issue. 10/10

Worked an absolute treat thank you. Did the the paper trick at the beginning and had nothing blowing through. Definitely need to persevere with this, after just over an hour of trying i used WD-40 and walked away for another hour as mentioned above, cleared it straight away so would recommend spraying some at the start and letting it soak in and do it’s magic. Only issue I have now is the orange engine management light is still on, tried pumping the accelerator 5 times and taking it on a 20 mile drive to see if that would work but had no joy.

Hi Phil. Please can you tell me precisely what you push or pull to remove the black plastic electrical connector from the top of the sensor. At 3min 09 seconds you remove the block but I cant see what you are doing to remove it. Precisely what are you doing, and to which bit?
I have looked and fiddled with mine (I dont want to break it) and nothing seems to move or release the block. Thanks. John Collyer

Today I was driving on the high way with cruise control and suddenly, cruise control stopped and I saw the red engine light. I could not switch the cruise control on. After a few minutes red light went of and cruise control worked again?? Is that the same issue as discribed in the video.

Recently had the same problem it happened back in January 19 took it to a garage and they replaced the exhaust pressure sensor and I replaced the battery but then again it happened again in November 19 after some digging around to find out the problem I found out that the exhaust pressure sensor pipe was infact blocked which was causing all these errors. took it to a garage and they had no tool or any idea how to undo the 11mm nut on the end of the pipe, I had already bought a new pipe from Nissan for £25 so after rounding the nut a little bit I suggested that they should cut the pipe and try a 11mm socket on it so they did and hey presto it came undone I turned off the errors after putting all the pipe back on started it up and fingers crossed it's all sorted. Hope this helps

Nice one!! Going to try this on mine. It's only done 37k, but I reckon it hasn't been looked at at all by previous owners, so best to clean the whole system up. One thing that I'm not sure of though. Is there any danger that soot in the pipe may get forced down into the turbo or EGR system? Sorry of that's a basic question, I'm just not sure where this pipe come out. Also guessing though that, once you start up again (without the sensor.....any loose deposits may get blown out? Thanks in advance!
