Hello everyone! This was our second day in Japan, and we took a day trip to Yamadera. Built over 1,000 years ago, Yamadera Temple is one of the most picturesque spots in northern Japan and a must-visit destination in the Tohoku region. Even though the 1,000 steps were quite tough in the heat, it was absolutely worth it!
