Then someone thought : If I attached one of those to my car engine, blow more air in ,I can make it go faster.... I shall call it Turbo 🤣 Great restoration by the way 👍👍👍
Can I ask a question please? I see this on resto video after resto video, and i can't understand it. Everyone sprays penetrating lubricant on the bolts/nuts they need to remove... so their spanners and sockets have LESS grip, and when the nut comes off the thread is 100% untouched by the oil. Where they needed slippage, there's none, and where they most certainly don't want it, that's where the oil is. Why??? Just loosen the bolt/nut. If there is too much rust, use heat. Heat just the nut; the rust actually insulates the bolt. Nut swells, it comes off. Penetrating oil? Visibly useless.
You´re right. Bullshit 40 is just a Hype with no effect. Cause it was not made for this application. Good analyse, Doug. Finally someone that understands something.
My grandfather always lightly 'tapped' the bolt head, if exposed & then the nut with a machinist hammer. 99% they would break free, maybe have to work it back and forth. Project was dry until the parts washer. I did one of these 20 years ago my only problem was the carbon buildup inside the blower & blower blades. Like stone.
WD-40, also known as Bullshit 40, is not a lubricant nor is it a penetration fluid. Get yourself some Mannol 9932 rust dissolver. This stuff gets the job done.
De nuevo asombrosa restauracion de soplador de forja oxidada, excelente resultado, mis respetos y saludos desde Venezuela, reciba un Feliz Año Nuevo amigo.👍👊🙏
The wood handle had a large chip. That should have been repaired or replaced. Sanding the handle and then waxing it...not done in the better restoration videos. Making the bolts black: For what purpose
I'm sorry but this is going to be the video where I say this. I hate when people are restoring something and use filler to hide the porous nature of cast iron. That is how it is supposed to look, pitted. You're not restoring the item by hiding it's true form.
Proof that knowledge +rudimentary tools = sufficient for restoration. Well done. Function > form
Nicely done sir, old doesn't mean bad, just a different way of doing things.
You should use thinner drive belt made by leather, much better than this polyurethane one, nice work anyway!
Часть эксперимента с кошкой самая смешная!!! 😂
Good job...brother👍

Think you need to watch this before passing judgement... czcams.com/video/xUEob2oAKVs/video.html

The top of the metal essentially rust welds to the bottom of the bolt. That is what’s being fixed, not the threads of the bolt being stuck.
Excelente restauração! 👏👏

Gun oil would have worked on that wooden handle, John Browning recommended it on all his gun stocks.
Boiled linseed oil gun oil will rot wood
Neat restoration. Are you going to set up a forge for late work?
Why have you painted the propeller red? For it to go faster? =)
ok very well and that for what is it used or what was it used for?

you should ask for your money back
Body putty isn't restoration. But it was yours so you did it how you wanted.
After finishing restoration it might be 200 dollar
Why don't you feed the cat?
🇪🇨👍🏻
