The Château de Malmaison was the private residence of Napoleon Bonaparte and Josephine from 1799 to 1814.
Located half an hour from Paris, where the First Consul came to work and relax.
Today, the mansion still preserves the decoration, the furniture and the paintings of the 19th century.
The Château de Malmaison is located in the commune of Rueil-Malmaison in the Hauts-de-Seine department and the Île-de-France region.
It was the seat of French government from 1800 to 1802 and Napoleon's last residence in France.
